This is a consumer complaint regarding the improper service and harassment by Kingfisher airlines
My co-passenger (Dr. K.K.S.Pangtey) and myself (Mr S. mazumder) had a booking on Kingfisher Airlines, 6:20 flight from Delhi to Guwahati on 25th of December (reservation code: Reservation code: HDSAJT) based on whose schedule we had also booked a connecting Jet-Konnect flight from Guwahati to Silchar at 1215 hrs
However on reaching T3 Terminal of Delhi, though we re handed a boarding pass the flight was delayed every half and hour for unknown reasons finally taking off at 9:45 hrs. During this duration people at the counter were never co-operative regarding the actual time of its take off. Due to this delay we had missed the connecting flight and were booked as no-show and our ticket was not refunded by Jet Airways.
This complaint is against Kingfisher Airlines.
a) if we were informed of its actual time rather than a delay of half an hour every half an hour we might have got our Jet Airways ticket cancelled or postponed saving us some amount of financial loss
b)During this three hour delay from 620 to 945, flights operated by other airlines to Guwahati were found to take off on time and were later found to reach Guwahati on time implying that the wather was fine at both ends.
This type of service by Kingfisher Airlines resulted in a loss of Rs. 17000 and also the amount that journey that was to be conducted by flight had to be ultimately taken by bus causing physical and mental harassment
Hence i request this consumer complaint forum to please do the needful for proper compensation
