I have very BAD experience with makemytrip. I booked a ticket for my friend who was ill and require to reach home as soon as possible. So i booked it for 3rd day due to unavailability of seats.
I booked a ticket from Mumbai to Indore and it was booked with amount 6295/- INR. They deducted the amount, also sent a confirmation mail for booking with booking id NF2513211943726. In the mail they told like we will receive our e-ticket within 2 hours. After 30 hours also it was not received. In between that i also sent a mail to services@makemytrip.com and got the reply with reference number 111024-041057 stating that you will soon get the response from makemytrip regarding this. Then few hours before journey also no any reply. After trying so many times to their customer care, we came to know that it was not yet booked though they provided the booking id. the executive lady was unable to answer why this was happened though we have the booking id. with us.
Then she asked 1800 /- INR more to booked the ticket in the same flight. I asked why should I pay if it is not my fault then again she replied nothing. & she was telling she can't do anything if we require that we have to pay otherwise cancel.
I am telling this is the worst services for travel booking. Even i can say the normal booking services are also far better than makemytrip. I don't know after posting this what should I get. I only want the justice for this. Why people suffer after paying this much amount of money to some travel services.Is there any rules for them so that they came to know that there is actually a strict law for them. IF anybody require any proof of communication I can send them please let me know.
