My family was scheduled to fly Kingfisher RED from mumbai to Chennai with PNR number DTJZGZ on 16th August. The ariline did not let my 11 month old kid board the flight as they felt the eye infection could hamper their other "guests".
I had to take them back and called up Makemytrip immediately to inform this. Now when I asked them for the refund, the agent(makemytrip) tells me that airline has updated the PNR as "NO SHOW". While we have actually showed up, collected the boarding pass and then we were stopped by the airline.
I have had multiple call with makemytrip so far. Lot of promises made on resolution. One "travel specialist" from Makemytrip told me three weeks back that he will call me in 30 minutes and get this sorted out. Nothing has moved so far.
I am wondering why did I choose Makemytrip in the first place. I would have rather paid a few hundreds more to an airline website. Atleast I would have got a faster resolution.
makemytrip works wonderful until the money gets transferred to their account. On matters of dispute, they just sleep on it. Its money afterall!!
Does anyone know of any appellate authority where we can report this?
