Air India Express cancelled all the flights from Mumbai to Bahrain from 26/08/2010 due to shortage of crew and advised passengers to collect full refund. It was duty of Air India Express to make alternative arrangements and ensure the passengers reach to their destination. However to save their cost, AIRINDIA EXPRESS has not bothered to take such steps forcing the passengers to take care of themselves. In January 2010 also Air India Express played the same game and saved for themselves lakhs of rupees.
Is is possible to direct the Air India Express to pay compensation for their inefficiency or gross mismanagement?
