Hi,

I have booked a flight from Delhi To Mumbai on 15-07-2010, departure timings: 15:10 and the PNR of which is "D3CHAH"

i was late to reach airport due to road traffic occurred, whatever, i went to the Spicejet customer support windows at Domestic Airport (Delhi), so that i could get the refund after necessary deduction.

A regular flier knows that the boarding pass will only be issued if you reach before 30 mins of the flight departure. Well i have stuck in traffic which snagged in my mind that "no point going to Airport". But only decided to go so that i can at least cancel my flight and get refund, that's simple !!!

But when i was there on the airport - "SpiceJet window", they answered me that "I won't be getting any refund since i have approach for the refund after the flight left for Mumbai a 10 minutes before, Instead i should be asked for refund before 2 hours of departure".
I have noted the timings on the printout of e-ticket i have collected from the same windows based on PNR No.

I have a simple query, if i want to cancel a ticket i could do it the same way i have booked from, so it really doesn't require for me to go on the Customer Windows of Spice Jet at the Airport.

Also i want to understand if i have not boarded on the flight for Mumbai, still the tax which i have paid, shouldn't to applicable and should be refunded?

Please let me know or the people of my kind having similar experience as what is correct procedure or any action which could set up a protocol helping people to know the exact truth

Yours Truly,

Deepak Jadhav
