We have been using Airtel internet since Nov, 2009. We were using the 512kbps and 3 GB plan. Since our usage is very limited, this plan suited our needs.
From the month of November 2009 till April 2010, our bill was ranging from Rs. 600 to Rs. 687/-
However, in the month of May, I suddenly received a bill of 5500/-. On registering a complaint, someone from your office came n checked for virus on my pc and then declared the bill to be fair. However, on our repeated insistence that our usage was very less and 10 times the amt was not possible, our case was not considered. On repeatedly calling n asking them to disconnect, we were asked to wait as the amt was being waved off.
Again in the month of June, we recived a bill of 5000/-. Again in the month of July we received a bill of 4100/-. This inspite of the fact that we stopped using Airtel broadband from 17th june 2010. However, we have again received a mail from airtel saying that we have exceeded our july usage of 3 GB inspite of the fact that we have STOPPED USING AIRTEL broadband.
One of your recovery agent also came and took a 1400/- amt check from us on 5th June 2010 and promised that the rest was being waved off. Within a week, we received a letter stating that we have to pay an amt of app Rs12800/- .
After which i personally visited your Airtel office at Interface, Malad and your officals offered me a waver of Rs. 8000/-. After which i should still be paying an amt of 4100/- which i m certain i have not used and then why should i pay for it?
However, no explanations are offered and i m only shown the dwld time and amt downloaded. I Have never dwnlded a single movie or video from internet using your plan. and my usage is limited to mail and social sites for not more than 3 hrs a day. Kindly explain the bill and also the fact that you are still billing me and saying that i hv exceeded your usage when i have stopped using all together!
