Last year I de activated my airtel broadband account. Their agent called me and requested me to retain the connection and give me a new broadband plan, which I agreed to. Also, they had asked me not to use the connection till I receive a confirmation from their side, which I never did. I then called their customer care to check and they said they already had activated the new plan. However, the plan they activated was not what was promised to me.

I then asked me to disconnect the connection. They still sent me a bill of 855 Rs. I said that I will be paying only for the duration that I used the connection for which they confirmed that I can pay around 250 Rs. I tried to pay that back online but they deactivated the account. When i called to ask how else I can pay it, they denied giving any waiver and said that I need to pay the entire amount, which I said I won't. They did not communicate any further to me regarding this. I kept on contacting them, but to no avail.

Now after a year, I received an e-bill from them. When I called, they said I need to pay the money. When i asked them to check the previous complaints, they denied having any complaints attached to the number. I asked them to connect me to a senior which they didn't. I don't mind paying entire amount, but if I do, these fraud companies will still have a free hand. Please suggest.
