    Default Airtel broadband Connection complaint

    My father is the station director of a Nuclear Reactor(Bhavini) at Kalpakkam. So we all stay at Kalpakkam. My brother is studying at Chennai so we wanted a broadband unlimited (Rs.799) connection at our house at Chennai.Address: Old 36, New 87,fourth Main Road, Gandhinagar, Adyar, Chennai-20, Phone no: 9443990135. I gave a cheque to the Airtel person on 4/4/2010. He also took 50Rs saying he wanted a Notary Public signature to show that A.S.Deepak resides at Chennai. We have kept our house locked for many years so we do not have our ration card in this address. Mr.Gopi said we would get the connection in 3 working days. So my brother took leave and waited he is still waiting. It has been 10 days now. There is no connection at all. The Airtel man is now avoiding my calls. Please return my money Rs.1050 at the earliest.

    This avoiding a customer after making false promises is so typical of Airtel and any other Indian company. People resort to lying to customers to get their commission or make their own stats look better.

    This forum is frequented by Airtel customer care so I am hoping that your complaint gets picked up and is acted upon at the earliest.
    In the mean time I would suggest sending an e-mail to customer care and letting them know what you are going through.

    Default follow up of the complaint

    Sir,
    I have been given a reference number 31793226 from Airtel saying they cannot give me the connection as the number of connections they can give has got saturated. I don't know how cum they didn't know this while taking the money. Any way now they have said that they will be refunding the money. I have asked for the entire money to be refund(Rs.1050/=) by a Chennai cheque in the name of Anita Subramani and posted to 22A,Second Avenue, Kalpakkam-603102, Kanchipuram District.

    I appreciate the forum for helping me out. Airtel people have been prompt in answering me till now. Hope they will also be prompt in returning my entire amount in the way i want.

    I will keep updating whatever happens to this forum.

    Angry non usage of bill payment

    Dear Sir ,
    this is the complaint reg airtel broadband connection as i have been disconnected my brobadband connection
    before month , but still they have sent me the bill of that particular month with i did not use and i have disconnected month , reg this issue i have raised the complaint so may times but they did not consider and nothing done towards the complaint,

    Default Shifting Problem

    Dear Sir,
    I am using Airtel broadband with this no. 0129 4102172 & make a call to C. care for disconnect this no.. After some days i get a revert back call from Airtel cancellation department and they ask me the reason than i tell him that i want to shift from Faridabad to Gurgaon.After they told me that don't worry i will shift this with in 2-3 weeks.
    But till now i have not get connections my current address is Baldev Sharma GS -161,Green Street ,Ground Floor, Malibu Towne, Sohan Road, Gurgaon.
    Regarding this i talk with Mrs Riya (She is working in Airtel Okhla Industries area, New Delhi).

    Default Reg: Airtel Broadband Connection

    I am Ms. Divya. I have been using Airtel Broadband + fixed line for past eight months. I have shifted my residence from Greenways road, R.A.Puram to porur on 1st July 2010. I have requested airtel customer care to transfer the connection to my new residence. I have given the requisition on 29th june 2010. I have paid my outstanding amount on the same day and told them to disconnect the line too. Almost 10 days over still now I have not got the connection and nobody else has contacted me till now. If I have not paid the bill representatives from Airtel must have contacted me atleast 3 – 4 times in a day. But then nobody is there to respond to serve the customer request. I never expected this kind of service from airtel. Don’t charge me any bill from 1st july 2010 since I have not used the connection and I will not pay for it. If still the issue continues I would like to disconnect the connection permanently. Kindly pls get back to me(Mobile No: 09941106541)regarding this issue ASAP. My connection details are below

    Default new airtel broadband connection

    Sir,

    This is to inform you that we are already existing customer of Airtel broadband connection(a/c.14455630) and now we have applied for one more broadband connection and wifi and we have paid the amount of Rs.500/- for broadband and Rs.1400/- for Wifi this has been remitted to vellore authorize DSA of Airtel broadband and telephone service M/s. C S Trading and company on 05.07.2010. The Sales Executive Mr.N.Shankar has promised to install the broadband and wifi within two days now its nearing two weeks, but still it has been not installed and no proper response from dealer. For being a long standing customer for airtel, we are experiencing such kind of poor service which is highly regrettable.

    I have booked the Airtel Broadband Connection on 21/7/2010 at my house at chennai:

    priyar nagar,nesapakkam ,Chennai 78.Phone no 9790960232. I gave a cheque of Rs 500 to the Airtel person on 21/7/2010. Mr.Saravanan (mobile no:9840906268) said we would get the connection within tomorrow.
    I used to call him daily and asked him when will i get the connection. He always told i will come at evening or i am on the way to your house but he didnot come. i am now stilling waiting. It has been 12 days now. There is no connection at all. Please return my money Rs.500 at the earliest or get me connection earliest.

    Default Its the worst possible connection and ISP

    I took a Rs 399 128 Kb/s unlimited connection from Asianet a week back and they installed the modem 4 days back. but it did not function. I raised a complaint and after a long 2 day wait and 3-4 calls later they established the connection. But when i tried using the net, i found that even my Gmail would not open and simple text sites would take upto 2 mins to come up.
    I checked the speed and was shocked to find that the data transfer speed was an abysmal 6-7 kb/s. thats worse than even dial up!!!!
    I raised a further complaint and after another day i was informed quite blatantly that if i needed higher speeds, i needed to pay them more money and take a connection with higher speeds.
    WTF!!! ????
    This is the worst customer service there is on planet earth. Its the same with thier cable connection as well.

    With reference to several remainder and request, your techincal team member not yet attended to resolve the problem. Its been 15 days now, problem has not fixed.
    With bad service and support, I hereby like to terminate the internet connection from here onwards. I request you to please come and take your modem and internet connection at the earliest. If not replied to this, hereby considered that service would be cancelled.

    Thumbs down Airtel threating and extorting

    Hello Sir / Madam,


    I am Jay Belani from Hyderabad(Andhra Pradesh) holding Airtel land line phone with broadband phone # 040-40061503 and bearing account # 15653934 since March / April 2010. Every month on 16th is my bill due date.But I never get bills mailed on time not even before bill date and I have requested them for E-bill (Soft copy) from the time I bought the connection as I am environmental friendly person but they send me hard copy after 2-3 days of my bill due date. They start harassing and threatening me asking to pay bill or they will send an executive and when collection executive calls me during my work hours he acts unprofessional as if I am a bill defaulter of Airtel from past 5 yrs.

    I have taken Airtel connection for just for minimum usage in a month under 799 unlimited browser plan of which I hardly use as I am in my office working for 16 hrs a day. I don't mind paying bills neither I would but I am really unhappy with their customer care which is 'SERCO' outsourcing group of billing of AIRTEL (Bangalore). They call me disturbing my privacy at least 5-6 times in a day and collection guy for like 3 times each.

    They don't have an organized way of working and doing follow ups and are not trained well.My connection had got disconnected without prior information as I had outstanding of Rs.1495 for two months out of which I have paid Rs.800 on Saturday (25/09/2010) at one of Airtel relationship office Receipt # CC18868461 in Paradise.(Hyderabad). Airtel commits restoring of services back within 2 hrs of bill payment in the browser when you try using internet,when I called the customer care guy he mentioned that it will take 48 hrs and by Monday(27/09/2010) would be getting my connection back as the backend operation team was not working.

    I request concerned authorities to take a severe action and do the needful.

    Angry airtel broadband complaint

    I santosh yadav living in indirapuram nyay khand 1. i complaint about my tel and internet connection on 22nd that this whole month(sep) my connection was not worked but i didnt got any action so please do the needfull or i will disconnect the connection from airtel and take a new connection from other company.

    Angry Airtel Keep seding me bills

    dear sir
    I am saket nigam. I had an airtel broadband connection for which my user id is 07554224759_mp account number = 11856274
    my connection is disactivated on 14 sept 2010 on that month i got only half month bill , but after that month airtel keep sending me bills , and when ever i try to complaint about this matter on airtel helpline number they disconnect my phone and don't give me reply of my complaint number which is 39160862 , i am user of airtel broadband since 2005 , airtel behaving like this to his old customer , i am now scared of airtel services , Sir am not in a mood to give any money for that connection. So please help me out.

    Angry complain regarding new connection.

    After searching over internet we (me my brother and sister) decided to take 899 unlimited plan from airtel, well this was a big mistake as we thaught that airtel itself is a big name. So we were expecting a good service but what we are getting is just reverse. Its been 5 days we had registered to 899 plan, so this guy from airtel came we were happy as he came within 45 minuts. And he asked us to complete all the formalities and pay him advance money n we did the same, thn i asked him how much time it gonna take to install and activate the connection, ''by 10 in the morning your connection will be ready to use'' ,he replied n left. and its the 5th day i am calling him but all he replies is ''just give me 1 hour and ur connection will be installed'', even today he was saying that ''i am standing right infront of your gate to install your connection,are you home?'' i said yes and went out to check , there was none but thin air, now i am totaly pissed off! I dont know what to do with these guys, i realy want some serious action aginst these cheaters and liers. i wanted the connection urgently 'cause i wanted to complete my project work but all i got is pain in my neck!

    I have virtually no mobile reception in my house unless my phone is pressed against a window- my wifi is soooooo slow I could run to the shops for my grocery and still have time for mani pedi before page opens- told them I didntmind cost but I want max speed max download unlimited- twice I've been told yes for impatience 1799 but two weeks later am told not in Vasant vihar WTF I live around the corner from Sunils brother!!!! Bet his reception is good- been told he has booster which costs 10 lac - I'm not going to pay that! Will move to other provider and bad mouth airtel to all who'll listen. Also why is it I get 10 phonecalls about my bill when it's up to me if I pay two days late but if we want customer care they take ages!!! Arses

    Default Airtel Broadband connection - TBLR268827

    Dear Sir,

    I applied for an Airtel broadband connection on the 16th of July 2011 by making a full payment of all charges and providing all the documents requested. I was told by the sales person (Mr. Shivraj) that I would receive a connection within 2 days. However so far I have not received any connection.

    My application number is TBLR268827.

    I have made multiple complaints through your customer service teams - complaint numbers include 1103798, 1251712, 1370290, 1688548 (there are a couple more which I do not remember).

    Each time I am told that you would get back to me within 12 working hours but I am yet to receive a single call from any of your representatives. In addition, on more than one occasion the customer service person has hung up the call. Since you claim to record all your calls for quality purposes please revisit these conversations so you understand the full extent of my irritation.

    This is not the service expected from you. At the very least you are expected to keep the customer informed of issues you are facing so they are aware of delays in the process. This process has been extremely frustrating and the communication from your end has been abysmal.

    If this is the way in which you are planning to treat your customers you should also be planning to shut down soon.

    Angry Bad customer service

    Hi

    I am Eeshan Sidhartha. This is regarding the customer service which is getting worse day by day. On 7th July 2011 I have logged in the request for shifting my airtel connection to a different address, the service representative advised that it will be done in maximum 30 days.

    I continuoiusly chased the Airtel people to make it done, but no update have provided , most of them just say please hold the line and after a while the phone gets disconnected, some of them say please call after 2-3 hours.

    Airtel service representative advised that there is some sort of upgradation that is to be done. However no one is ready to give me a date as when I will get my internet connected. I have emailed many times to airtel but no update is provided.

    complaint numbers are 446439 , 2129370 and there are more complaints
    This is really very annoying

    I had applied for a new airtel connection on Aug 2nd and had given the money on same day. During last 2-3 weeks, I called airtel customer care more than 5 times to get an update on when I can get a new connection. If there is going to be any delay, before taking money airtel agent has to inform the same rather than promising that connection will be ready with in 4-5 days.

    Please help me to resolve this issue ASAP.

    Default Havent get the broadband connection till today

    Applied for the Airtel broadband connection on 3rd of august'11 and havebt get the connection till today.
    4 times i have logged the complain to the customer care but no result. Every time calling to the concerned executive, he is telling 1 day , 2 day.

    Its very tough to realize this kind of service from airtel.
    Now i am planning to withdraw this connection and ask to refund my money and will tell others not to take airtel connection.

    Dear Sir,

    I am Prakasam - Chennai, last week I got a call from Airtel regarding broadband connection, plan 4MBPS 1099+Modem 750. They told me that they will send a person to collect the payments and they promised to install the modem on the same day. So I asked the person to come and collect the payment on 27th - Aug-2011. At 1.PM, person who name was Siva came to my home and filled up the form and collected Rs. 1850/- and gave me bill too. At evening, 5PM I called the person number 9025793141 got switched off. Again I tried one more number 9025793226 that too swithched off.

    So now who are they? Are they Fraud or Fraud Franchiase given by AIRTEL????

    I want my Money Back or Connection. I've been 10 yrs of relationship with Airtel (Postpaid). Now due to this problem(Fruad Franchiase) Airtel is gonna lose their customers.

    Please reply to this ASAP.
