August 2011- I requested for a plan migration and was informed it will be effective from the next billing cycle.
September 2011-I went ahead and paid the bill as per my old plan.
October2011- My billing plan was still not migrated and I received a bill as per the old plan. I raised a complaing with Customer service and then later with the Nodal officer to get this corrected. I was told that the correction would be made and I will receive a corrected bill. I stated that I will pay the amount as soon as I receive the bill.
Novemember 2011-I recived no call back from the Nodal office, nor did I receive any corrected Bill. I received a bill with the old plan and a late charge added to it. I did not make any payments. In the meantime my services were barred.
December 2011-Airtel send cvollection team to my residence to collect the pending amount. The folks threaten and harras my mother.
Decemeber 12, 2011-I called appellate office for the same request. I was convinced that the matter4 will be resolved in 24 hours and my services will be restored. I also requested for a change of phone number and email address.
December 27, 2011-Still no response from Appellate office and I called again.spoke to Ravi Kumar and he ensured the following action will be taken immediately.
My bill for the last three months amounting to Rs. 4911 will be waived off completely qas I haven't used the services for the last three months.

My services will be restored immediately.
There will be no more collection calls or visits to my place.

Till date there is no resolution. My plan was migrated , however the charges have not been corrected. Airtel wants me to pay for all the monnths at the old rate. And also for the period when my services were barred. They made a mistake and as a result barred my services. Now they want me to pay for that as well.

For the last six months they have harrased me in every possible way. I have spen thousands of rupees on STD talking to them. Instead of talking of compensating for all this they want me to pay for the services never used.

When I last spoke to the representative at the appelate office she told me clearly that this isd the highest level of escalation and if I am not satisfied I can go whereever I want.

Not sure how inconsiderate and callaous AIRTEL can be!!!!!!!!
