Dear Sir/Madam,
Airtel is big network in india but not giving proper respons to customer,,,, i have booked broband connection on 1/04/2010, but still not get that connection and received any call from airtel......... booking deposit rs 1000/- chf no 1021169, can i go for legal action against airtel |

I raised a request on 26th July for the following -
a. Cancel 700 voice plan b. Cancel 300 broadband top up plan c. Migrate plan from 999 to 1399 4mbps plan. All of the above requests were under the following request number - SR12699283 . The turn around time for the request was 28th July. I got a call on 28th july to confirm if I wanted to go ahead with the request and I confirmed it . On 29th I got another call to ask me if I wanted to go ahead with the migration. I confirmed again , and they told me it will take 5 working days since it is a 'new request' . I told them that this is not a new request and that it was logged on 26th july. He said that they will escalate my previous ticket. Today its 31st JULY , my plan has not been migrated yet . I called up customer care rep and he was pretty IMPATIENT with me , which is funny because I thought you made the IMPATIENT plan for broadband not for your Customer care agents . So after speaking to him for half an hour , this is the final status - I now have a NEW SERVICE REQUEST for the plan migration and voice plan cancelation , with Turn Around time of AUGUST 2nd 12 NOON. The request number is SR12703378 which was placed on 29th JULY, it was not placed by ME but by AIRTEL themeselves as per their convenience. MY ORIGINAL TICKET LOGGED ON 26TH JULY HAS BEEN CANCELLED. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so now I have to wait for the 'NEW REQUEST NUMBER ' to be worked upon and GOD ONLY KNOWS WHAT PART OF THE SERVICE REQUEST WILL BE COMPLETED , THE VOICE PLAN CANCELATION OR PLAN MIGRATION !! OH and then , there is ANOTHER REQUEST NUMBER --------- SR149995976 --------------- which got raised today since I called in to escalate my OLD AND ORIGINAL REQUEST NUMBER WHICH IS NOW CANCELLED. Please take care of this mess !! I don't know what to expect anymore |

Consumer court/Airtel, I have a complaint to Airtel Broadband department that i was using the Airtel broadband connection for my office purpose of no:- 01147597514 before 3 months ago. In the month of May i have given the request to Airtel broadband customer care that i want to disconnect my bradband connection and please discontinue my connection at that time the customer care executive said it will done within 7 days. and then he gave me the Ref no:-135948893. In between i gave the request again to disconnect the connection then the another executive said it will done sir within 2 working days it will disconnect, that time they gave the ref no again which was 33223506. Then, the connection was shutted down and dial tone was gone and intenet was gone. Then i paid the bill of that month which was pro-rata basis of 2977rs/. But in next month i got the message and bill from airtel to pay the bill of approx. 3000rs and 6600rs.. then again i complained to customer executive that why u have given that bill even i have disconnected the phone. I dont know why they are sending the bills even i got again the bill this month and the collection peoples are harrasmenting to me. Daily they are calling and messaging to me that pay the bill otherwise you will see. I dont know what is this they are doing even i have disconnected the connection and shutted off my office before 3 months ago.I have given the payment till last bill of that month which was pro- rata basis in May. I am totally shattered off of airtel calls Even my office has closed down and they are giving again and again the bills. They are totally a cheaters who are cheating with the innocent peoples and they are making money from them. I have a request to consumer court to take a action against Airtel for harrasment. with regards Gaurav |

I like to add in with Gourav Complain of Harrassment above, I too facing such issue, TRAI is doing nothing against such cheater. Let me explane my complain history. I did call Airtel for disconnection, The Executive asked me reason and as I told him about my shifting from GZB to New Delhi, he assure me that on new place we will transfer your connection free of cost and will reduce your billing from 799 to 499 Plan with same benefit, I did ask him about the network availabilty and he assure me that the new area will sure be equiped with line. The Ref No.: 33094894 I shifted to new location, no body from Airtel replied, I again complain the issue got new ref no.:33635898 I did call again on no resolution and got promised with new request number that my bill will be prorated and i need not to pay for the period from when I first complain. : Ref No.34091698 No resolution after few days I call and with old ref no. I again got New Ref No.34144040 Now Airtel after spending two month sending me bill for last 3 month and asking to pay . The bully guy hired from Airtel scoulding and harrasing by calling from different number the latest call I received from :011-47061427 I do have record of all calls and like to file a harrasment case against Airtel, Any one here can tell me the contact for Lawyer and process of filing complain in consumer forum. Airtel is big network in india but not giving proper respons to customer,,,, i have to already one internet conection but did't be catch server properly IInd floor,so have to need one new connection request to customercare exe.. to the new connection but after 15 days gone but no respone he told that i hav to call few days and time but after two days three to contineous same words i have to complain to these date on 10/8/2010 then 28/810 31.08.10./1.9.10 and today also he tell that same words after five days install to conection but still not get that connection and received any call from airtel plz solve

One of the worst customer services from airtel. I have had bad experiences for both, the mobile & broadband connections.The customer care has only one reply to give whenever they charge us more money than due, (even when the fault is fully theirs...either they upload wrong schemes on their website or their engineers download expensive pc softwares as a part of free schemes offered while installing new broadband connections)..."SORRY MADAM, WE WILL NOT REPEAT THIS MISTAKE AGAIN WITH OTHER CUSTOMERS, BUT WE CANNOT REIMBURSE THE MONEY BACK TO YOU!!!"
This is the most ridiculous policy I have seen in any service provider sector. I wonder how it has become a giant in the tele- industry. Even Govt. services are better than Airtel service and the customer service providers.Its daytime robbery and they assume most of us in our fats life, will not bother to recheck the bills and the due amounts. |

It is a matter of great concern that I booked a broad band connection vide customer enrolment form no, N0672499 on 25.08.2010 against a payment of Rs. 500/- as booking amount. Enrollment form and money was collected by some Ajay Kumar whose cell no. is 9557444417 with the understanding that the connection will be provided within a weeks time. I contacted Mr. Sanjay Gupta at cell no. 9897121212 & Amit at cell no. 9897590508 but no result. Till date neither I got broad band connection nor my money has been refunded. We are having AIRTEL broadband connection. I went to native place for vacation, so we couldn’t make the payment on date. By Monday 04-Oct-2010 we made the payment thru online. We have called customer care & Technical team more than 25 times, every time they are telling we are working for you based on top priority. But we didn’t get the connection. We don’t understand why they are taking this much time to release the connection. They are charging 50paise per call. I am not able to connect office from home, because they are not telling exact time – also I have loss of pay for yesterday Kindly assist me to resolve the issue. Regards, Nawaz |

Consumer court/Airtel, I have internet connection from Airtel for bussiness purpose. Internet is not working since 08.10.10. Complain has been made to the customer care number 01144444555 since then. Every time they say it will be shorted out in 24 hours. My business is at lost. Nobody has ever come to check. Even today also they said by 24 hours it will be shorted out. I don't know what to do. This is to bring into your kind notice that we have availed airtel internet connection from March 2008. For details our airtel account number is 13589974. We have to shift our home in the month of April 2010, so we lodged an application to change our internet connection. But since then nobody has responded. We even have lodged complaint in the month of April (Complaint no 328128) and in the month of June (Complaint no 34218732) but again no reply from airtel people.And strangely nobody even has come to receive that modem. The main problem is that we evn are getting bills from april onwards even though we are not even using the internet since we have changed our residence. Never trust on telecom companies..... (Ahemdabad) India's one of the big telecom company airtel is but, you know some time because of some people whole organisation suffer, this thing is going on right now with airtel, before 1/5 month ago i had applied for internet broadband connection, their executive came at my office in couple of days and collected related document and told me that it will take 7 working days and you will get connection, after 10 days I called him and asked what is the reason for delay, then he told me that server problem and said will take 2 more days i said ok, after 4 days once again i called him and asked him now what is the reason, than he told me that in my area wires were not available already our other wireman came and check that, to fix that issue it will take 2 days more, then other 2-3 days passed and new thing was occur then guy who took my document he refused my call, ultimately he received and I told him finally that if he were not able to gave the connection than tell me but than he told that no no all thing was done and will gave connection with 2 days. after 4 days I went their office and tell the story to the respective person who was taking care of this issue, she told that all thing will done as early as possible but till now nothing can be done. Hello, I am Amit Tiwari, disconnected my landline 020-40036076 (pune) four months ago and surrendered the instrument and modem (Broadband internet) and cleared all bills. I have relocated to another state, but now also, I get bills in mails and amount deducted from my bank account.
I launched many complaints and called many times to Airtel to no avail; they always say, problem is solved and amount will be credited back to my account. Please help, amittiwari8@gmail.com. |

I am M.rajendran, proprietor of raj air systems concern took airtel broadband internet connection on 4th of this month and had connected on 5th evening around 7 pm and it has worked for only three hours and after that it has dead. I have paid 5 months subscription fees os Rs 5495/- in advance against if paid for 5 months one month subscription is free. till today (12/12/10 - 4.30 am) it is not working even after given so many complaints by phone register and also in mail. previously i had connection with bsnl. Since I want better service and speed I believed airtel will be the best. So I canceled and gone to airtel which i done mistake. I never expected this type of very bad service from them. No response, poor technical team, after many phone call simply one person coming and standing, not able to identify the problems. their main motto is swindling money from customer. this type of company well gowned fast by cheated many customer like me. This is further to the complaint regarding my Airtel Broadband connection dated 08/01/2011, for landline number - 0120-4375958 with Complaint Ref No. 41741984 I had logged in a complaint regarding non-functioning broadband on 8th January via call center since there was no power display on the Wifi router. I was comforted that the issue will be resolved post an engineer visit the very next day (09/01/2011) . The visit didn't happen and the update I was given on 10th January morning was that the engineer had visited and he has detected issue with Wifi router. Since then I have been calling the call-center every single day with no issue resolution till date. Infact yesterday only I was given a statement by your senior support executive that they cannot commit on any resolution and I will have to wait indefinitely. In my opinion it was one of th emost unprofessional discussion I ever had and post this conversation only I am writing this mailer to you. My concerns are as follows; Today we are sitting on 13th January so how can it take 7 days for an engineer to visit and resolve my issue. How can the status on your system be updated as 'Engineer visited' while there was no visit as such How long should I wait for getting a definitive answer on my concern and does it comply with your query resolution Turn around Times Why should I be paying rent for the period during which my services were barred/non-functional With deep regret I am writing this mailer and expect a resolution from atleast your end,considering that atleast your desk would be preofessional enough to atleast revert with an answer. This is with reference to the service request number 42670904. My landline number is 04442838121. I registered a complaint on 4th Feb that my airtel broadband is not working. It is a week since I registered the complaint and till there seem to be no initiative on Airtel side to resolve this issue. Whenever I call the customer care number, they simply tell that the issue will be resolved on that day. Will my connection ever get restored?
Also, I am finding it hard to get the list of services, options, customer care phone numbers etc. on the airtel broadband service as I got the connection just a month back. Is there a welcome kit or something that gives the necessary details? Elango |

Hi all,
I am a user of Airtel Broadband at Noida. I have the 4 Mbps Impatience plan - Rs.1399 with data limit of 25 GB and then the speed comes down to 256 Kbps. For the last week, I have been experiencing slow speed of about 300 kbps. I have complained several times to Airtel and their response is that I have crossed the 25 GB limit. I know for sure I have not crossed the limit. Their own usage portal says I have used only 2.5 GB. I have been patient for a week thinking that they will fix it but no one seems to fix it. I do not use torrents or download heavily to cross the 25 GB limit in the first place. I pay for 4 Mbps (and I am not a defaulter in payment - in fact, I have a -ve balance of Rs. 566 in the account - means Airtel has got my extra money) and to get 300 Kbps is terrible and robbery by Airtel. How do I file a case of negligence and cheating against airtel in consumer court? I am NOT going to let this pass and have Airtel feed on my cash for nothing but bad service. Please guide me. Our Airtel Telephone no.43305064_tn. Account no.16126781. Last month bill no. 791072090. Now we have problem in our net connection I didn't get net connection is continuously i couldn't work continuously 1/2 hours. If i used 1/2 hour net 3 4 times net line is disconnected. Then how can i working in online. This problem is frequent happening in my net connection and Speed also very slow .And Our telephone also not working in last one month. I got a new Airtel broadband connection working for 2 days and it got disconnected and it was said to me that no port is free so we can not give connection to you. The details are as follows: I applied for new Airtel broadband connection 1499 plan on 8th of February 2011 for my residence at House No. 562, Sector 22 B, Gurgaon. Mr. Rajeev (9560345744) was the sales person who came to my office in Vatika Business Park, Sector 49 and collected the 500/- deposit amount from me. On Thursday 10th Feb 2011 some guy came for wiring and wiring was completed. On Saturday 12th Feb 2011, installation was done by Mr. Lalit Roy (9910967224). Speed was checked and was noted in installation report as 4.16Mbps. I have the installation report with me. The number given to me is 01244011680. On Thursday 17th Feb 2011, my internet stopped working and I got a call from Mr. Sanjay (9818248093) that wiring needs to be changed so i asked him to come on Saturday as all of us are working and no one will be at home during day on week days. When I called him up on Saturday, 19th Feb 2011, he said only one port was available and it is given to some other customer as he came first for wiring. We won't wait for you to come to us for wiring. Talk to whom so ever you want, we can not give you a connection now. I talked to Mr. Naveen (8826291701) regarding this but he stopped picking up my calls from next day saying that he can not do anything now. Then i logged a complaint, reference number 43287306 regarding this problem. I was contacted by Mr. Dhayanendra (8826291608) on Sunday, 20th Feb 2011 and was assured that he will get back to me by Monday, 21st Feb 2011 evening. But he didn't called me. When ever i call customer care they say they are looking after it and but nobody contacts me or informs me about. I locked 1 more complaint 43541394. When can i expect my connection working?
