Airtel has been charing me for PC Secure Antivirus which was not subscribed or used by me. They have been charging me for it for almost one and a half year on one connection and for almost am year on another connection. When I contacted the customer care every 2nd day for 25days I was told in the end that as per the company policy they can only give me two months of waiver. I even asked then to show me any document which proves that I have requested for that service, for example any email or any signed document or form but the answer I get that the person at the call center is not authorized to give you that information.
I have been an Airtel customer since the day it launched in India i.e. Indore was the 1st city they started their service in India with. I pay them more than 12k a month(for more than 8 years now). I also agree that airtel is one of the best broadband service providers in India. All I expected from the company was that I should be given a waiver of the money which I was wrongly charged for.
The only fault at my end was that I did not check the bills that to because after being such an old customer of airtel there was a trust which was built with time and I kept on paying the amount. I have more that 15 telephone connection out of which 9 connections are from Airtel including landline and mobile at my office and home. Its is not practically possible for me to check all the bills every month.
After all this I have almost lost hope now that Airtel would even look into this matter. This is my last try to get a reasonable answer from Airtel's end.
