your notice the following matter with reagrds to my Airtel account which needs urgent attention.
I had put a request for my Airtel account (#15935623) termination on Aug 10th. That time I got a confirmation that account has been disabled and same will be terminated in 2-3 days. Below is what is being done by Airtel.
In September I got a bill for full month usage and upon calling customer care I got to know that someone by name Amit visited my place and convinced me to transfer the connection to Vikram/Vinod. In reality no-one from Airtel visited my place and I don' know any Vinod/Vikram. When I had put a request for account termination on Aug 10th and your SLA says that you are supposed to terminate the line in a week then, why all of sudden on Sep 14th someone would plan to visit? Why line was not terminated by Aug 17th?
I also got to know that line has been shifted somewhere. It is illegal to transfer the line to someone without my consent . I' ve not signed any document agreeing to shifting of connection. Now some else is using the line under my name and I am getting calls for payment. I am sure Airtel guy gave the line to his dear one as free treat.
Since then I've been calling customer care since last one month. I've registered many complaints (Request numbers 37714416, 37867582,398070,38117630, 38163880,38275562,38332652,38466156) with no luck of getting any resolution. Each time the request is closed in 2-3 says with resolution that Airtel people convinced me to retain the line. This is just ridiculous. Truth being I have not gotten any call and no-one from Airtel has visited place.
Request you to please help me getting line terminated. I have spoken to my lawyer and planning to send a notice to Airtel as well for mental harassment and wrong doing.
