This is regarding a complain against Airtel Broadband connection. I had got it disconnected couple of months later but I still receive the SMS from airtel mentioning that I have reached the download capacity of 80% and all. I also receive the SMS stating the bill amount pending on me. Please find below the email complaint that I had raised with the nodal officer for Airtel.

Subject: Airtel Issue

Hi,

This email is to bring to your notice the amount of frustration that I have
gone through with the Customer service provided to me by your so called reputed
firm, Airtel.

I had a broadband internet connection (Account #) through the landline phone
number 08041300073. I placed a location transfer request and the customer
service (herby referred as CS) told me that it would take around 21 days to get
the connection transferred at the new location. It took more than 27 days to
get the connection transferred. After using the internet connection for around
a month I got to know that the Airtel has charged me an amount of Rs. 2099. I
started calling the CS and after talking to about 6-7 CS executive I could find
very little details about why I was charged this heavy amount. Believe me, I
went to the airtel outlet in Koramanagala, Bangalore and was horrified to know
that I was asked to call the CS. The only difference was that I was using
Airtel¿s phone from there. The call got disconnected from there as well and I
have to explain to each CS executive I talk. Why does Airtel open such
showrooms when they ask the customer to call from there when actually customer
can get it done from home? Even there the lady sitting there could not get the
issue resolved. They were not able to explain me why has Airtel charged me so
much.

Frustrated and irritated to a great extent I felt I should get away with Airtel
with immediate effect. All these days I was not having any airtel connection at
all. But I was continuously receiving the airtel messages that I have crossed
80% of the download limit. I also received the SMS stating that I have finished
the complete download limit within next 3 days. I fail to understand and
explained the same to the CS executive but I did not receive any resolution. I
asked the CS executive to disconnect the connection. I placed the disconnection
request. However, I did not the resolution of the same as well. After many days
I got a legal notice that I should pay the outstanding amount else a criminal
case will be filed against me in the court. With no choice left as I don¿t want
to get into the legal battles or any such things I decided to pay whatever
Airtel is begging for. I went to the showroom and paid the amount that was
outstanding against me and got my name off the list of people who received the
legal notice.

Even after this I am still receiving the SMS messages from the Airtel that I
have reached 80% of the download limit and the subsequent SMS for the download
limit reaching 100%. Not only that, even after clearing the all the outstanding
dues, I am still receiving the SMS that I have some outstanding amount. It has
been more than 2 months that I have disconnected the connection but still I
have receiving the SMS stating my monthly bill. I fail to understand why I am
receiving the bill when I have got the broadband connection disconnected.

All the requests/complaints that are raised with airtel are as mentioned below:

1. 6801100

2. 6899858

3. 45724235

When even raising all these complaints I could not get the resolution, I tried
raising more complaints the CS executive hesitated to raise any more
complaints.

I again today received the SMS stating that there is an outstanding amount
against my name which I could not understand as I have already disconnected the
connection. I am now planning to take legal advice and send the legal notice to
Airtel for torturing me with unnecessary SMSes if quickly some action is not
