    Default Complain against TATA Photon plus

    I am not at all satisfied with the kind of servce provided by Tata Indicom.

    I have made several complaints regarding my TATA Photon plus connection (TATA Indicom No 09230174974; Account Number 935739624) which I have taken on January 2010.The connectivity and speed was not at all as claimed by TATA Indicom.Just after six months I started facing this problem i.e it is not getting any signals at all.

    I logged a complain and requested them to disconnect the service (after making the last bill payment of Rs 660/- on August).Still they send a service person to my home who delcared that the photon plus device is having some problem in its modem,so I need to go to their service centre to resolve this.

    I called up customer care again and asked them that I dont need any further service regarding this.

    Now, again this month,sep 2010 I have recieved a bill of Rs 660/- although there was no usage at all.

    Could you please help me on this.

    Expecting a quick response from your side regarding the same.

    Default Tata photon plus looting customers

    TATA PHOTON PLUS LOOTING CUSTOMERS

    I bought tata photon plus from chandigarh on 29.07.2010 I was told by the customer care that I would be given 200 Rs discount for 12 months on purchase of tata photon plus on my postpaid bill but when I purchased I was told that this offer is not applicable in chandigarh. Had I been told that before buying I would not have purchased tata photon connection.
    Not only that when I got my second month bill i.e of September my bill was inflated by 384 Rs under the name HSIA usage charge ,my bill was supposed to be 950 as I have opted for 5gb plan for Rs 950 and I have used only 3 gb but I was charged 1474 Rs . I cant understand why they are looting customers. When I ****yzed my bill I found that my 1st bill was also inflated by 200 Rs , again in the name of HSIA usage name ,when I called up the customer care the response was also not very positive I was supposed to get the refund of total 384+200 = 584 but was given only 500 Rs refund that too after calling them thrice and explaining them the tedious details of the bill .I was told by the customer care representative that it is not under his control to refund more than 500 Rs Have I not looked upon my 2nd bill they would continue charging and inflating my bill . I feel that there are many such innocent customers who are already in trap and are not aware of over billing .This post is to AWARE the TATA PHOTON PLUS customers to get aware of the over billing and fraud ness of tata photon billing and business strategy to loot INDIANS.

    Default Poor Internet Connection

    Hello

    I am also facing the same problem from the last 7 days. Also the surfing speed is too slow that a simple Google home page is taking more than 2-3 minutes to load. I can even see my mails on GMail because of poor speed.

    Before it was working fine but from the last few days it becomes the hell for me., even speed on mobile is better then Tata Photon Plus at present.

    One thing I want to know from TATA Photon Plus, is that they are promising to provide speed upto 3MBps, but the max speed I have seen is upto 60KBps. Is this the fair deal with the customers they are doing.


    TATA Photon have really disappointed me from the last few days.

    I guess its better to go with internet on mobile instead of TATA Photon, if they are satisfying their customers like this.

    Thumbs down activation for tata photon+

    I have bought tata photon + num- 9221156627 on 15/09/10 at 2pm. the dealer told it will activated within 2 hrs, but till today 17/09/10 my net is not working. they are giving excuses secence they had new system on activation and recharges. my retailer has send me a recharge of Rs 650.00, but no received in my card and not deduct from his card. and the dealer is not responding. I am sorry to imform u to tell their is warst system, on copration and on communication. If today my card will wont start, i will complaint to higher post.

    Default Don't buy customer cheating tata photon plus

    Hi,
    I am Veera Pramod from hyderabad, I had buy the tata photon plus device on 18/08/2010.I am getting a worst speed of 20 to 350Kbps. Where they mentioned upto 3.1Mbps. How really tata is cheating the customers. After giving complaint regarding it technician came to me and said signal strength is not good here need to fix enhancer. Already a week over no reply from tata regarding it. When i call to customer care they are saying no stock we will solve your problem shortly. What hell with tata. As i hope tata service is good before buying tata photon plus. Now i lost that.

    Default poor speed

    i am getting 12kbps rather than 3.1 mbps and even connection droppers many times
    i complaint about it and nothing happened .why don't they check there bst and msc
    wht is there problem they are getting huge amount
    check ur workers they are just to take ur money and do nothing

    Talking Tata Photon Plus Useless

    I bought a Photon Plus by Aug 2010. It was not working as they claimed. It often getting disconnected while using.When making complaints they behaved in a rude manner. Hence I request all not buy Tata Photon Plus without asking for a demo in your computer. Why your computer? They come with the come with a computer for a demo with requisite administrative settings. It is unethical on the part of the so called no.1 company in India cheating the innocent customer

    Default Bad speed and response from customer service people at Tata Photon Plus

    Hi,

    This was my first interaction with any of the Tata's services and this is the worst response I got, after a follow up (which I did) of atleast 20 times with their customer care executives and the network/technical people in Hyderabad.

    I got my Tata connection activated on 15 Sep 2010 with Account no. 907282276, and the speed I am getting while downloading any of the files, is not beyond 20kbps (that too in rare cases), reason -- they have not updated my speed for the new billing cycle again, (as this is the cap plan of till 10GB usage at 3.1mbps, though then as well the speed was never beyond 50kbps (in any case this is not even the 10% of what they claim), but after the change of the cycle they did not renew the speed again) and this speed is even worse than a Mobile Office low speed connection I have -- And these Tata guys are charging Rs1,100 for this sub standard speed and no proper customer attention.

    I tried to register a complaint with the customer care people, but the guy did not register my complaint and ask me to wait for 6 hrs (thus, giving a false deadline). As expected nothing happened in that time and I called up again and the lady asked for the complaint no. (strange -- you do not register the complaint, give me time and while calling again, ask for the complaint no.). Anyways, I got it registered with the following complaint no. 240015893

    After following up 'n' number of times and always getting some false deadlines, finally receive a mail saying the following:

    "This is regarding your docket number - 240015893.
    We regret to inform you that, we are unable to process your complaint within the time committed to you.
    We shall take some more time to resolve the complaint"

    Without stating the reason and mentioning the specifics of this "some more time" (leaving it open ended at their discretion of solving or in all probable cases not solving the issue), even after taking so much time already and assuring me of it to be done within the stipulated time, every time I called them (atleast they should have stated the facts, in case there were any, instead of lying blatantly). The clear problem as I figured (after speaking to all the executives and network people) is with their technical team in Hyderabad, which does not care to resolve customer issues.

    The issue is still pending and they have done nothing in this matter (and this is my worst interaction with any of the customer care services ever)

    tata photon says its been awrded best gadget of the year....anybody know who is that person who judged...its so bad...i am getting only 0.26mbps browsing speed....damn they claim its 3.1mbps...just hating the service....

    Angry Bad connection and very bad service and fraud company

    I amir ansari have purchased tata phton plus and i have used only two days and after that it has stop working and many time i have complain but only i get regestration no.nothing more than that and i asked to return they said it can not be done. but it could because of the days left. tata has a verya bad service,company employee and no 1 fraud company with the coustumer and also charge very high amount for the net kindly u see to that and let me know

    sir,
    i am arvind patel and m user of tata photon+ no is 9210298933 .i want to do complain with regarding of tata photon + speed.. about last 2 month regulary recharge Rs. 1000 plan in which they provide 3 gb 3.1 mbps but m getting 20-30 kb ...
    Its my 3 complain bt they not give proper response my problem ....i m the user of tata photon about 7 month .1and 2 month give good service..but now lot of problem...
    so plz sir, take proper step for my regarding complain ....otherwise i will complain in another ways ....

    Angry Avoid TATA photon plus like a pleague

    I have been using TATA photon+ Rs 950/- per month unlimited plan since last 2 months. The first month of the service had been great and I could download more than 30GB of data using this connection. So I was quite impressed with their service. But this scenario changed right from the 2nd day after getting the bill for the 1st payment cycle. Whereas the download speed I was getting earlier was approx. 60kbps(even after the 5.5 Gb high speed cap), now a days I'm hardly getting 8-10kbps peak speed, with 2-3kbps most of the time. Most of the time, webpages take ages to open. I can't even use GTalk for voice chat. It has became similar to the Rs 98/- Aircel pocket internet plan, only difference being that I'm paying 10 times. This kind of service is not exactly something that someone could possibly expect when paying nearly a thousand bucks for it. So the bottomline is : respite being a reputed company, TATA photon plus will continue cheating their customers and looting their hard earned money. So anyone planning to take TATA photon plus for unlimited plan just think twice before doing it. Get some feedback on their cheating policies and decide if it's really the thing you want to go for.

    I am also facing the same problem.The connection was gr8 during 1st payment cycle.After paying the bill I am getting max 5-6kbps download speed.I often get 15-20kbps download speed.My Photon plus details is given bellow.
