    Default Deactivation of Tata Photon Plus

    I have been using Tata Photo Plus for last 6months. I took the connection in Pune & recently shifted to Bangalore. I wanted to shift my Tata Photon Plus connection to Bangalore as I had problems getting technical as well as general support fron banaglore tata teleservices. I called up All India toll Free no of Tata Photon Plus ( 1800 266 121) 3 days back to help me out but they outrightly rejected to transfer my connection to Banglore as they donot have such a transfer policy. So I requested them to De-Activate my Pune account so that I can a take a new connection in Bangalore.

    This is when all the problem broke out. Nobody is willing to help to to deactivate my account. They said that they have authority to do all activities execept Deactivating the account. also they said that my no : 9225300153 with Photon Plus account No 977112882 comes under Hyderabad pervieve & asked me to acll some othet no ( 9225000121 or 9220000121) for getting the work done. When i called these nos, these nos are fully computerised & donot connect to any customer serives executive in any mode. It directly asks to punch my account no which is 977112882. but everytime I punch this account no, I get a response as "not able to recongine this account no". This has been happenning for last 3 days continiously & I have called these nos atleast 15 times.

    I once again called up the All India toll free no & Gave my account no from which they were able to provide all my details like, Billing address, Last payment done, Unbilled usage etc.

    When I shouted at them that there nos 9225000121 & 9220000121 are not working , they said they would arrange for a call back within 2 hours but i have not recived any call even after 3 days.

    Since I have a post paid connection & I am not using the same at present, still everyday ther are increasing my unbilled amount ( day to day prorata basis) & will ultimately send me a bill at the end of the month.

    I now donot have any idea how to De-activate my account even after continiously call all phone nos possible of Tata Photo plus from past 3 days.

    Even BSNL which is govt organisation is much way ahead in responding to customer requestes than this Tata tele services. I had faced same proble with my Tata photon Whiz & Tata indicom mobile in Pune.
    I would advise all my friends & relatives not to take any services provided my Tata tele services group.

    Any help from anybody by reply to this mail would be higly apprecieted.

    Thumbs down Tata Photon Review -- PLEASE DO NOT USE

    I purchased Tata Photon Plus Package Plan - 1GB @ Rs 650; post paid plan. I stopped using the service since 2 months completely as I switched to another Internet service which is much much better.

    I am receiving rude phone calls to pay the bill from cheap illiterate customer service people who speak good English as well.

    I have been trying to call the customer service to cancel/deactivate my services. But no response. Everything in vain. Hopeless service.

    I will try my best to deactivate this service I will even go to Police to stop this service. I advice everyone who is looking for review of Tata Photon

    Please DO NOT purchase it. It is really a rip off of your money.

    Total FRAUD !!!!

    Thumbs down Unable to deactivate Tataphoton Whiz

    My Photon Whiz no is 9204755315. As I have purchased a Photon Plus last month due to Tata's inability to convert my Whiz into Photon plus, I am unable to deactivate my Whiz online as promised by the tata people. Now, I want to deactivate Whiz very urgently to save my postpaid billing without using it. As online deactivation is not available as promised, I request the concerned authorities of tata indicom to deactivate my Whiz no. 920475515 urgently and stop billing for the same. Thanks

    I had cancelled my Tata Photon Whiz Connection almost 3 months back. But I am still getting the bill & the account is still active.
    The Connection details are.

    Account Number : 936030176.

    Why the account has not been cancelled yet ? How come the bill is still getting generated even with zero usage ?
    Please look into it asap.

    hi,i paid the bill and i given a cancellation letter to a tata photon agency in bangalore c.v.raman nagar branch,they told it will be cancelled by 1 week,now iam in gulf,but still iam getting bills generated.what bullshit is this?r tata people playing with me?i did a mistake that i paid the money and then came here,i shouldve come as like that,now how can u generate bill?do u think iam fool to pay u again..my dog will pay u..plz look into the issue and close my connection..

    This is the worst service i had never used in my life..I bought the TATA Photon for speed 3.1 Mbps but i even didn,t got 300 Kbps. When i called customer care executive they itself are saying, it will mention like that as 3.1 mbps but you wont get that much speed but you will get average speed of 250 - 500 kbps...

    See how fools they are thinking about us. Be sure about buying TATA PHOTON, They will be good for advertisements but not for buying..

    Please think twise for buying TATA PHOTON.... This is waste of money....See you are paying 1000 for 200 kbps, Even I am...They are many services who are providing the best than these worst thing..

    Angry Not able to deactivate Tata Photon Plus service

    I am Lipi Chandran from Bangalore and this is my connection details,

    The Connection details are.
    Phton Number : 9243539772
    Account Number : 908244001

    I had sent a mail to "customercare.karnataka@tatatel.co.in" on 30 June 2011 to deactivate or cancel the connection but there is no response to mail from customer care.

    On 2nd July 2011, I got mail from "bill@tataindicom.com" to pay my June month bill i.e Rs. 957. I paid it immediately on 4 july 2011 and also called up toll free number to place a request for deactivation of my account as I didnt get any response to the mail i sent.

    When I contacted customer care representative to check on status of mail, the customer representative say that we didnt recieve any mail......This is awkward. Its not customer problem, its their problem.....Do they want us to solve their system/server problems?????

    And I am surprised with the kind of response and options customer care representative gave me to choose,

    Customer care representative response:
    **************************************
    a.You can convert to pre-paid option as we cannot take back the device

    (OR)

    b.Write a mail to "customercare.karnataka@tatatel.co.in" to deactivate account and they will take 3 working days to close the account in that case I will be charged for 3 days

    (OR)

    c. I (customer care representative) can take this issue forward to close but it takes 6 working days to close the account in that case I will be charged for 6 days

    (OR)

    d. Go to any tata photon service center and place a request in letter form.

    My question is:

    a. The service provided by tata photon is pathetic and bull shit
    b. The service provided should be customer friendly and solve the issue without much hinderance
    c. Even though i am not using the service then why do they charge ?
    d. If the service providers take time to deactivate account then its not my problem and why the hell do they charge for it?

    hello friends i want to inform u that plz don't believe call from tata photon plus they says false ...............
    i bought tata photon plus for an unlimited internet plan of 3.1 mbps speed but after i bought the data card two days later i got the scheme of 5Gb@950 ,but they had said to me this is unlimited offer only for u...
    so i terminated the connection but i lost my 1600 rs due to data card
    so plz be aware of this and don't buy any product of tata photon plus

    Hi,
    Try the last suggestion given by the customer care executive. Go to any tata indicom outlet and place a letter application for your Tata photon device activation. They will deactivate it primarily for 3 months and after 3 months u can call the customer care and extend it. I tried the same and it worked for me.

    Helllow Sir/ Madam,

    I am Govardhan Dwarika Gupta

    My Tata Photon Plus device details is as foolows:
    Photon Number :09223720853
    Account Number :977373332
    Tarrif Plan: Photon Plus Unlimited 5GB@950

    I had been using this device since July 2010.

    On 1st September, I had provided a written request for cancellation of Tata Photon Plus connection at Kandivili (Shop No1, White House building) Tata Store.

    Without providing me any written acknowledgement they assured me that the connection would be closed.
    They asked me to accept their verbal commitment.

    Even Tata Store people told me to deactivate the device over phone.
    I had tried 16 calls over phone to Tata Customer Care. Their response was like bull shit. They used to greet when the calls were connected. But when I asked them to deactivate the account, they used to disconnect the calls or just not to respond.) This was the worst experience I had with any postpaid service. Terror like situation, ....


    Since then, till date my account is active and I am forced to recieve E-Bills, even when I have Zero usage.

    I talk to Tata Store about this. They have been advising neither to worry nor to pay any more.



    I am repeatedly getting the calls from Tata Photon Customer care who do not talk in civilized way. When I told them about the Tata Store people response, Customer care people tell that my account is still active and I should pay the bill.

    Kindly look into matter. I want to get rid of this all this bull shit which so many have been suffering from.

    I Surrendered my tata photon account on 13th oct 2011 by paying proper amount to a Tata indicom executive named SHANMUGAM from rcupe communication(tata indicom agency) mogappair chennai. i gave a surrender letter to him, i had a copy of that in my hand,there after i am not using their service. But still they are sending the bill to my address and call me to pay the bill, i have send the copies of my surrender letter and payment bill and a intimation letter regarding that from my side to tataindicom chennai office through courier, even after that they are calling and mailing me to pay the outstanding due

    I would advise all my friends & relatives not to take any services provided by Tata tele services group.

    Any help from anybody by reply to this mail would be highly appreciated.

    Dear Sir,

    What do you mean by surrendering the service. According to me SURRENDERING THE SERVICE means not using the service thereafter. I have paid the bill for service which i have used until 13th October and I have a copy of that as well. After surrendering the service on 13th October I have not used the service so far. Without using the service why do you want me to pay for that and what do you mean by adjusting or wavering the bill amount. Already we are in a state of mental disturbance in this issue , if you continuously doing these unwanted things i have no other option other than to go for legal action from my side against TATA PHOTON.

I have paid the bill for service which i have used until 13th October and I have a copy of that as well. After surrendering the service on 13th October I have not used the service so far. Without using the service why do you want me to pay for that and what do you mean by adjusting or wavering the bill amount. Already we are in a state of mental disturbance in this issue , if you continuously doing these unwanted things i have no other option other than to go for legal action from my side against TATA PHOTON.
