My line as well as phone lines of all other BSNL lines in the Neelshhilp Soc., Kalher. Bhiwandi are non functional from 1st week of Nov. 2009. A complaint was lodged on computerised system on 13th nov. followed by a written complaint on 16th Nov. by holder of phone no. 274468 for self & other members mentioning all nos. including mine. Inspite of this, I recd. a bill for rs. 10921/-. I personally went to the exchange and also sent letters through courier service on 2nd Jan 2010, 1st April 2010 & 11th June 2010. I had given ECS mandate to claim the bill amounts upto Rs. 2000/-. When I was going through my bank passbook, I noticed dr. of Rs. 12477/- under ECS towards amt. paid to BSNL. When I enquired with BSNL accounts office, I was informed orally that since March 2010 they have decided to do away with limits set by the customer under ECS. Their action is totally illegal as any contract can not be altered without the consent of both parties and more so since they were not, and still not rendering any service. Whenever I visit their office, I am shown "we don't care" attitude and made to go from one dept. to another. How do I get justice?
