Hi everybody this is Arup Mitra. A few days ago I took an internet connection from Meghbella broadband. I am from salt lake, kolkata. They have their server located in BD block Salt lake. I discussed with them and applied for the broadband plan 384kbps in day and after 12 am night it will be upto 2mbps.
First when I took the connection it was running well but after 10 or 12 days at night speed started slowing down. They told me to login at 12.5 am and I will get the actual upto 2 mbps speed. First few days I got the speed. Then the speed started slowing down.
2mbps=2024kbps/2000kbps. If it is the committed speed then I should get near about 200-250KB/S download speed from wherever I download. I got 60KB/s speed. Sometimes its increasing again it decreasing. I called the helpline they told "Sir your plan is up to 2mbps, you may get 1mbps or 2mbps. 1mbps means 128KBPS per second. neither I got 1mbps nor 2mbps.
They got a lineman named SUMAN who fix the line in my house. He set up a wireless device in my roof of my house with the help of a 6ft iron rod and a radio signal catcher with it. Now he is saying as the wind blowing the radio signal device is moving that's why the speed is slowing down.
I asked him about the solution.
He said fix a pillar on the roof so that I can tightly attach the radio with it and it will not be move anymore.
I did that (fixed a pillar, same problem remained)
Now everyday he is saying wait I will come and fix the problem.

MOST IMPORTANT:-Suman came to my house and saw there is ping loss in my connection. So he told me "Your on-board lan is unable to handle the sufficient load". I got an ASUS P5G41TMLX MOTHER BORAD with 10gbps maximum on-board lan support. Then he check in his laptop and found ping loss. then he was saying "no it is our problem". Always trying to show excuses never solves the problem properly.

Still now i am suffering with these irritating, irresponsible behaviour and service quality of Meghbella broadband. NEVER SUPPORT THEM BUY TAKING THEIR CONNECTION.

I am one of the many victims of the fraud company called Meghbela. They claim themselves to be an internet service provider, who does the only job of coercing money from its hapless customers while providing base level trashy services. I am an NRI and have returned to the country only to witness how degraded the internet business has become in a span of two to three years. Its appalling to know how unperturbed these people are even after they are being knocked at several times. I am too pissed off even to have them face the court of law. I really hope that other people also speaks up and unmasks the dirty facade of this fraudulent assholes. I am ashamed that these kind of people even exists in our country.

never ever go for MEGHBELA . they will cheat you . i took the net service last day , I paid 1100 for jet silver pack . it gives 512 all day but promises 4 mbps from 12AM to 9 AM . but I get less than 1 mbps instead of 4 mbps . when I called customer care they said its upto 4 mbps . so you can get anything. I have already wasted rs 30 on calling them .
DONT WASTE MONEY ON MEGHBELA. its better not to have net .

more shocking is big name like airtel is linked with it . they are throwing away there goodwill.
