My name is Ashish Sikligar, resident of Wakad Pune. My complaint is pertaining to my Reliance Netconnect wireless USB broadband modem no 9325684025. I visited Reliance Aundh store on 24th April 2010. I wanted to inquire about wired broadband connection. Since they did not provide wired connection in my area of Wakad, the sales executive Dinesh and their so called tech expert Nikhil coaxed me into buying the wireless broadband connection. they promised the minimum speed i would get is atleast 500kbps. Based on this i paid Rs 2400 for this product. Sine that day of purchase the speed i received has been very variable with a maximum of 40kbps which was appalling. However since May - June the performance has been bad with an average speed of 15 kbps. i have raised two complaints with the Reliance customer Care team in DAKC who closed my complaints without resolution. On 14th July my connection stopped working completely, when i called the customer support, what turned out after that was the most appaling service of my life. I made three call total lasting over 3 hours of which i was kept on hold for 2;45 mins because the the Floor Supervisor by the name of Siddhi outright denied me a chance to speak to the manager. they kep me on hold and ignored me completely. Apalled by this i went to the store from where i had purchased it and i was in for a bigger shock, there was no store manager or AM. All i wanted was a refund as the product did not meet tits purpose was a misfit on top of being missold to me. The Customer Care also arrogantly informed me that because of congestiion in wakad the max speed i will get is 40kbps and i have to live with that till the time they invest in more infrastructure. Where as the store kept on telling me that i am the only one facing this issue as all connections in wakad get a average speed of between 500kbps to 1.0 mbos. The tech expert nikhil called the store and said the product is now sold and they cant do anythingi have to talk customer service. After being ignored for two hours in the store the store executive gave me the number for their nodal officer Preeti Chabria, who was totally dismissive of me. When i called her she pretended to to be someone else and asked me to call tomorrow. I have just called her thrice today morning and she hasnt responded to my email. or called me back niether has she answered my calls. I have sent and email to all concerned hwoever my issue seems to be going no where i an i m still stuck with a connection giving me speeds of 10kbps. Please issue me a refund |
