Dear Sir / madam,
below is an email i sent to the customer care service of IDEA cellular.
As you can see, instead of being customer friendly, this compny has been harrassing me from day one with only promises when pressed and other wise with absolute silence. I hope your organisation can take the necessary action so that ordinary people are not harassed and fleeced of their money by large organistions like this Birla group.

Dear Sir,
I had applied and paid for your post paid wireless internet service on 25th of June'10 from BBS Link 9/A Patel chambers, S. A. Belvi Rd., Fort, Mumbai 400001 and was told the connection would be effected within 2 to 3 working days and as soon as the verification was done.

On 28th june'10 your representative came home and verified my details and took the required documents. this was confirmed by the call back from a person from your verification department. I had also informed him that BBS had not given me any SIM card though the SIM no. was given (8108149125)

2 days later on constant insistance by sms as well as phone calls the SIM was given to me and i informed your verification department about it. I was told the connection would be effected within a few hours.

Nothing happened that day and i have been constantly following up with your customer service dept. as well as BBS Link but i don't get any response.
Two of my complaint nos. are 15136290 and 15615100. Everytime i was told that i will get a response within 2 days. These have been hollow assurances so far. Infact i recall a lady vociforously complaining to BSS, when i was filling the application form, that she was fedup with the irratic and irresponsible service of IDEA and wanted to cancell /stop her connection.

I now feel i should have noted her complaint and refrained from taking this new connection.
All you advt. with flimstars and promises are hollow and infact it no seems your organisation is fooling the public and fleecing them.

I insist that you respond to my various complaints and initiate my connection immediately, as well as take necessary action aginst BBS Link for such shabby service, failing which i insist that you refund my full payment as i have not been connected so far and therefore not used your service.

I will definately write to the consumer protection office about this incident and the mental torchure that i have been subjected to
