    Thumbs down Internet Airtel Broadband

    3rd July- I called airtel customer care and put in requests for plan change from a higher to a lower tariff plan (req no: 10519637)
    according to their original promise this was supposed to happen within 24 hrs, but while speaking to them they said it would take place within 5 working days. They said i would get a conformation call next day and i told them to put it in their records that I, being a student can only attend their calls between 1-2 or after 6:30.

    waited till 10th july, again called them and reminded them that i haven't got any conformation for the plan change, they promised they would take a look into the matter soon.

    again waited till 16th july, tried to lodge another complaint but the executive was not ready to do so and he gave me only a request no. (35189278), i had also requested for a hard copy of bill but didn't get it so i lodged a complaint ( 35189278). also, i told them that i would not pay the extra rent for the higher plan because of the delay caused by them.

    can you believe it- i waited till today (29th july) but still my plan has not been changed, i call those people again, lodged another complaint (3573966) for plan change and another for receiving a hard copy of my bill (complaint no: 35739820). still they are saying that the matter will be taken care of by 31st july.
    I really don't know what else to do, i am really frustrated as being a student i cannot pay the extra 1000 rupees for the higher plan which i do not need anymore. I hope consumer court will help regarding this as soon as possible.
