    Default Photon plus fraud

    I bought photon plus to use it in Sector 105 Noida. The coverage is extremely poor and the speed I used to get was just around 256 kbps, which any other average ISP offers these days. Photon promises upto 3 mbps in its advertisements and what I got is not even 10% of that.

    My complaints regarding the speed were not entertained and nothing was done by Tata for many months. Eventually, one of the so-called engineers told me that 256 kbps is within their minimum threshold and that is why they cannot do anything. In other words, if the speed was lesser than 256 kbps, only then they will act.

    I got the miserable thing disconnected and didn't pay my last bill. They kept calling me to ask me to pay up. I was in no mood to do that since I had already suffered a lot at their hands. Finally they have sent a court summon to me. I haven't given up and plan to take this up with the highest authorities in Tata.

    Default tata photon plus fraud

    this is regarding tata photo callous attitude towards it's customers.i was over billed and inspite of my repeated complaints,a very little amount was deducted.then in the second month too.i got a bill exceedin 4000rs when my internet plan was less than 800.i lodged a complaint again but they failed to resolve the issue.i got my connection cancelled ane refused to pay d bill.they have lodged a complaint in court without even intimidating me before hand..the internet service and telecommunication services are run by a bunch of corrupt people n don't give their employers their due.some major reforms have to be made to put these corrupt officials under check.it is shocking to see corruption even in the private sector.

    Default Tata Photon Fraud

    Hi ,

    I took a Tata photon Connection.
    After first month of service , the speed went down to ~ 250 Kbps .
    I raised complaint about this . And the engineers responded by saying " broadband is defined as 256 Kbps +" Speed.

    if i go for other service providers , i can get 256 kbps unlimited at 450 Rupees but i was Paying 950 for 5 gb montly plan here .

    Then next month onwards the speed went doen to 70 -100 kbps . which is utterly un-acceptable.

    i can get unlimited GPRS at 200 rupees per month , for which i was paying 950 rupees.

    in the End , i stopped using the service and left my last bill unpaid.

    Now they are threatning to file case agnist me ..

    I am thinking of going Consumer court Myself,.

    Default Tata Photon Plus Problems

    Hi,
    I too faced a similar problem. I called to the Tata Photon plus customer care to change my Plan to unlimited. They said that they have changed the Plan. So i used it more than the normal usage. But the bill came at a high amount. When i contacted them again they said that the plan is not yet changed and the worst thing is that they said that i did not call them at all for a plan change. I didnt pay that month bill and now i received a court order....
