I applied for an airtel broadband connection on 14/10/2011 at airtel office in J.P Nagar 1st phase. My customer enrollment form is, CEF NO. 301404. I was told to wait for minimum 3 days for the connection after I paid 1399 for the TURBO 30GB plan. I wait for 10 days and went to the same office for enquiry on 25/10/2011 but I was informed that my application has been cancelled due to some technical issue and told me that I will be refunded in next 10 days. I waited for 10 more days. Again I went to the same office asking about my refund, then they told me I need to lodge a complaint at airtel customer care which I did. My complaint number is 6962182, my name is SONI TAOREM. After lodging my complaint the customer service representative told me that the concern department will contact me soon. I waited for a week but no one from the airtel office called. Then I call up the customer care again and inform me that my complaint is in OPEN status. After a week I called up again they said my cheque has been dispatch and they gave me consignment number 7722197722 of Overnite Express courier service. After contacting Overnite express I came to that the cheque has been return to office as there was no contact number of mine and with incomplete address. I have updated my complete mailing address on airtel customer data base every time I talked with their customer care representative, I also gave my complete mailing address at my application form which I have a copy of it..After few days I called up their customer care again I was told that the cheque has been re - dispatch but the same thing happen again. Later a person from airtel called me to check whether I have got the cheque from whom I came to know that they have given the cheque with wrong name, my name is SONI TAOREM but they wrote the cheque under SONIA TAOREM, I can't understand how they can be so careless. It is so depressing. I told him to correct it and send it to me. It has been more than 70 days. Please look into this matter. I am tired of this. Please help me.
