Hi,

I am from Pune. I got the new Reliance BB connection 3 months back. At that time, their representative told me that if I pay 3 months rental in advance, the installation charges Rs.500 will be waived off and adjusted in the bill of third month. But I clearly mentioned that if you mail me the same then only I will believe else I am not interested in the connection. As I insisted on it, the manager dropped me the mail clearly mentioning that "IF THE CUSTOMER IS GOING FOR A QUAREARLY/HALFYEARLY/EARLY, PLAN WE WILL PROCESS FOR A WAIVER OF THE INSTALLATION CHARGES RS/- 500 WHICH WILL BE ADJUSTED IN THE BILL." (This is taken as it is from the mail)
I paid the advance rental for 3 months including the installation charges. To my surprise, no waiver is provided in 3rd month's bill. I launched a complaint and received the response saying that the charges are correct and no waiver will be given. Then I forwarded the mail received from their own representative (Manager) promising me about the waiver. The next reply is that “they forwarded the issue to the concerned team.”
While I am waiting for the reply, just to add to the frustration, they temporarily suspended my connection without even informing me.
