i am s.k.sureshkumar studing in oxford engineering college in trichy,l brought a new relaince broadband netconnect, there is no coverage in trichy city. so trichy is one of the main city in tamilnadu.many consumer use this relaince broadband . i should ask you to setup a coverage in trichy. kindiy reply for me.

I m staying in Trihcy and I bot Reliance Net Connect in Chennai.. When I tried in Chennai it was connecting with 3.1 Kbps.. But when I tried connecting in Trichy it was with 256 kbps only.. when i enquired this with the reliance ppl(customer call) they said there is no broadband coverage in Trichy. this is absurd.. Trichy is one of the big city in TN and while bying the modem i specifially asked the reliance person that will it work in Trichy with 3.1kbps they confirmed me Yes.. this is very bad exp i had with reliance net connect... now wht shld i do now having this modem useless in trichy... tell me.

This is to tell all that Reliance NetConnect does not only have very bad service (extremely slow speed - as low as 30kbps) in many areas in Bangalore, they actually make sure that they do not disconnect in time on request (they say 15 days is what they take to disconnect but they didn't do even that for me), so that you end up paying up more unnecessarily. Then they get their Collections peope to chase and harass you. Most people would give up and pay rather than pay that money - I am not sure if I want to do that.

Is there anyway to really fight against this kind of extortion? Is there really no venue where guys like us can get together and do something rather than meekly pay for services we didn't get?

Hope someone can help with suggestions - I heard there is a website where they take a little charge and fight these things without the consumer having to go to court - is there a way?

My Name is Nagarajan, residing in Pammal - Chennai. Last Month, i've bought Reliance Netconnect of 3.1 mbps. But i never see the speed more than 56 kbps.

I'm not sure whether this is happening to other subscriber also. Anyway, I've planned to quit from the services from Reliance.

Any other solutions or recommendations are invited.
