Hello,
Hello,
I had one of the worst experiences somebody can ever face with an internet connection. There is a long story behind this. For almost a year, I have been using Photon Unlimited 5GB @950 plan. Photon number 9243523823.
3 months back (July 2011) I started having serious network issue (since I moved to a new place) and from there all problem started. I called customer service for network problem. They were not able to solve at once, since there was no use of continuing paying 950Rs for no use, I then called for cancellation. The tata indicomm team reacted to that and I got a call from a lady who assured that the network problem will get solved within 2 months time and for that two months I will get a waiver of 550rs and I have to pay only 275rs. I agreed. And that was the biggest mistake I made. For 2 months June-July and July-August I got 555 rs waiver and so had to pay only 275rs. And also the network problem got solved by start of August. But when I got the August-September bill I got shock of my life. A bill of 9000 rs. When I looked at the bill, I came to know that somebody has changed my plan to a limited usage 250rs plan (retention plan). Problems started. I call numerous time to customer care. They are saying that I was the one to request for the plan change and that on July 14th. I did never and also I never got any written intimation (mail or sms) anytime in July, August or September stating that my plan is changed to limited plan. So I asked customer care people for evidence. If I have ever requested for plan change and if so why did I never got a written confirmation. They kept on insisting that it was told me over phone and no mails / sms was sent. Now for such an organized company is it possible that someone make such plan changes and don’t send a single written communication for same. Their point was when I wanted to cancel my plan for bad network, I agreed to retain if they change my plan to 250Rs, which is not true. What I agreed was 555 rs waiver and not change of plan to limited.
First thing here, my issue was always network and never did I had any problem with the bill. So where is the question of me making a request for plan change.
I am writing this mail with great hope that receipt ants of this mail will help me to get out of this problem. Thanks
Nabajit
