This is to inform you that i am using tata photon plus device for the last 6 months. Since then I have been continuously getting problems from the customer care front. For the bill payments, i am continuously getting calls from the customer care with the telephone no. 011-64738111 and this is continuously making problems for me. Cheque dated 21/5/10 for Rs 861/- was bounced on 24/5/10. On the very next day, i made a cash payment of Rs. 850/- corresponding to the bill. The Bounced cheque was again deposited in my HDFC Bank account on 29th May, 2010. The Cheque was again bounced and there was NO INTIMATION made to me that my cheque has been sent for clearing twice by Tata Teleservices in my bank account. Due to the above reasons the bank has charged me a total charges of Rs 1213/-. In my current bill also, charges have been levied for Rs. 220/-. And when i was called up by the customer care for the bill payment, i was said the same charges would be reversed which are not reversed till date and my bill is due for payment.
After a word with the bank, the bank has told me to speak to the beneficiary of the cheque ( Tata Teleservices in this case) and to ask for the reasons for depositing my cheque twice. The charges which are levied cannot be reversed by the bank prior to the confirmation and reasons to be stated by Tata Teleservices. The complaint for the same has been posted in the consumer forum also.
I Would request you to look into this matter as ASAP.
