    Angry Tata Photon plus - ridiculously low speed

    Hi,
    I had taken a Tata photon Plus postpaid connection in Margao,Goa in the last week of October 2010. This month I completed 3 months of usage and so i changed my plan to a prepaid connection. But since then the download speed that i get is around 4 kb/s maximum. And even while surfing,the webpages take many minutes to load..This is a ridiculous thing considering the speeds that Tata Photon Plus claims to offer its customers.I even called up the customer care multiple times and logged complaints but in vain.This is really frustrating.I am currently based in Dombivli,Mumbai.

    Default Pathetic net speed and customer service

    Hi,

    I would like to know the status of the issue registered by me.

    Tata Indicom number 9243257759

    Docket number : 269123425

    It has been more than 4 days since i have reported this issue. This is the second time in the past week i have registered a complaint regarding my net connection. Please note the connection is giving problems from a long time.

    Please note that i will not be paying the rental for the previous month as my net connection was consistently below 256 kbps that is promised by TATA Photon. My net speed is around 100 kbps!!!!

    One of your executives who visited my place to check on the connection confirmed that there was a network problem and it will be resolved in 48 hrs.

    I have been calling your customer care but there is a problem with your phone line too as there is a lot of disturbance in the line.

    Its been a month since i lodged a complaint. There is absolutely no response from Tata Photon people. My umpteen emails to the customer care is going unanswered. Please note that the issue was suppose to be resolved by 16-July-2011. This was the date given to me by TATA. This date itself was unrealistic as it was nearly a month from my actual date of complaint. Still i accepted it. But now when i send mails to the customer care regarding the complaint there is absolutely no response.

    I demand you waive off my rentals. In fact i will not pay my bill. AND I DO NOT EXPECT A STANDARD REPLY STATING "YOU ARE A VALUABLE CUTSTOMER.....SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE". I WANT RESULTS!!!!

    Angry Tata Photon Plus-very slow

    I bought a Tata Photon+ Data Card on 07.08.2011 in Chennai. But right from day one, the speed is very very slow despite Tata's tall claims of giving speed upto 3.1 Mbps.

    My plan is Rs.950/- (unlimited). Account Number is 909531985. Please look into this and revert to me.

    Photon plus claims a speed of 3.1mbps..lol!
    And im getting a download speed of around 4kbps-10kbps..not more than that!
    Thts very very poor..the webpages take ages to load and its very irritating.
    Tata is cheating us all on this photon plus thing..its incredibly slow..no work possible.
    Im on the rs950 unlimited plan..
    My Tata Photon plus number is 9234606810.
    Please look into the issue.

    Inspite of your executive calling me and telling the procedures, still the speed is incredibly slow, really no improvement.
    This is really poor from ypur side.
    You dont even give a meagre amount of the super high speed you claim.
    My download speed is only 10kbps avg!
