I bought a Tata Photon+ Pre-Paid in April this year and recharged it with 1250 INR which provides me 10GB of download free, my validity was suppose to expire on May 23, 2010.
I got a message from Tata saying that my account balance is 3695 MB at 9:53 pm on May 22, 2010. So, I started downloading stuff for approximately 1.25 GB and the download stopped by 12:00 midnight as the validity was over. Then I did not recharge my Photon+ for a few days. I recharged it with 200 INR which gives me 250 MB of download and comes with 20 days validity. I came home and tried to connect it did not work so I called up customer care and was shocked to hear the agent saying that my account was negative 1600 INR.
I asked him how is it possible? That person said this is what I see on my system.
Now, my queries are:
1. When I had a balance of 3695 MB at 9:53 on May 22, 2010 how can my account go in negative?
2. And if my account was in negative why did they permit to download files after my balance was over.
3. I did not expect this kind of service from Tata, they only look to get hold of new customers and don't care about existing customers.
4. According to them now I am in debt which doesn't seem fair.
I hope something can be done in this mater.
