    Default TATA Photon + Service

    Hi,

    I have a photon + connection with no. of 9282198706. From the day of purchase the device is giving problem. Every time the technician comes, he just does uninstalling and re-installing of software . The device works for a few days and then again becomes non-functional. However, now the device is not getting installed. When complaint to call centre did not yield any result, I just called to cancel the service. However they notified that I won't get back the initial amount of Rs 3600 which I had deposited.

    I am frustrated with the service. It seems that they are following the example of TATA Indicom for providing bad service. On top of that, they have concealed information from the retail customers of the non-refundable amounts one is paying during activation of service.

    Hi,

    There are dozens of calls from the service center every day enquiring for the status. After all this fiasco , somebody came to replace the device. However, since it could not be activated, he has gone back, promising to be back by 29th May evening. I have lost all hopes from TATA Indicom and seriously think that through all these the TATA brand name is getting tarnsihed.

    Angry Need Tata Photon+ head office contact detail.

    Hello All,


    In Bangalore, Tata provider agencies are giving connection as Corporate connection.

    More than 5 times we called for asking required documents..but not providing primary information...!

    As well as asking other required documents those is not required for any person.


    Kindly provide me India - head office contact & email address. So, I can provide them all detail of peoples.
    Who involves in those list & spoiling reputation of Tata.

    Default Forced ARP plan of 2 GB photon no 9205067399

    Dear Manager,

    1. I had applied for a photon plus ARP 3600 min Rs 9000/- plan at a shop at Satwari chowk in Jammu. The dealer readily took the money and promised to activate the plan the next day. Thereafter he kept dilly dallying for more than a week and kept telling that there is a error in the system and that I can never get the 3600 min plan and I should take the 2 GB plan.
    2. My money was blocked and I had no hope of getting the full amount back so after a lot of pressure i had to perforce get the 2 GB plan. When I enquired from the company they conveyed that there was no apparent error in the system and the scheme of 3600 min was always in force. I have felt terribly cheated even after paying this huge amount. If there was a problem the dealer should not have taken the huge amount and I would have gone the reliance plan. I feel betrayed by the dealer-tatatele official nexus and I went for your company inspite of the high tariffs because of the clean and user friendly image of tata that reliance doesnot possess. After a lot of complaints on line and phone - to no avail, I feel mentally exhausted and not to mention the financial loss I have had.
    3. So please change my plan to 3600 min for which I had pledged my hard earned money. Don't let the dealer and officials spoil the TATA brand.

    Angry Worst Serive you can Imagine.Never Go for tata Photo

    Dear fellow consumers,

    I took tata Photon Connection 2 months Back. When I called Customer care for this, They send some person to my address in couple of hours. He sole me the device and took the money. But after 3 weeks device started giving problems. It is getting very very hot and the internet speed is worst that you can imagine. Just to open a simple HTML page it taked 15 -20 mins (If I am lucky).

    I put a complaint with the tata photon customer care a week back and no action is being taken. I asked them to refund my money and their answer was typical, it is non refundable. I told them to fix the problem, but nothing has been done. When I was telling them about their bad service they just hang up the phone.

    It looks like day light robbing. TATA took Rs 2500 from me and gave me a junk device and bad internet. They now do not care about it. They pocketed that amount, which probably they procured from some kabadi wala for Rs 1.

    Its very frustrating and you feel like cheated blatantly. If you take my adivce,NEVER GO FOR TATA PHOTON. THIS IS THE WORST YOU CAN IMAGINE.

    Default regarding the usage of 1st month

    Dear Manager
    i bought the TATA Photon+ device from Udaipur (Rajasthan) few days back. i was told that for the first use i will b given 1 gb free for only Rs. 300. But only after a night my device stopped making connection to internet. When i contacted the authorized person i was told that my balance was over. When i asked that wahtever may be the speed, 1 gb cannot be utilized in one night in only surfing through the page. Although they showed me the balance detail on net but i have'nt put anything to download and my 1gb plan got finished. Sir/Mam, i request you to please chek the services that is provoded by Photon devices and also please tell me if there is a way by which i can keep check on my usage.

    Thumbs down worst service provider Tata Photon

    Dear Official,

    I have purchased a tata photon data card No. 9282442703 on 4th june 2011 and the connection was terminated on 16th june 2011. And when I contacted customer care found that due to negative address verification My connection got terminated.
    The first point here is nodoby informed me about connection termination, even I was not aware that there will be any address verification.Okay I am accepting that that's fault from my side as they could not find out anybody at my home as I am a working professional.
    On 17th June 2011 I have raised a request for re-address verification and I was given a service time frame that before 21st June 2011, My connection would be restored. and to my surprise nobody visited my house till that date despite my daily calling to customer care. And when I called customer care on 21st June evening I got the response that due to some application breakdown they could not send any person for address verification.The request no. which I had raised are 269104741,269387677..etc. Today is 24th June and there is no response from anyside.
    I have naver expected this kind of service from tata. After calling daily to customer care I am not able to find any way to restore my connection.
    Please look into this and provide me some solution otherwise the last option would be the consumer court.
    Hoping for a positive response.

    Angry Tata Photon Device is not working since last 20 days

    Hi,

    My name is HITESH KUMAR GUPTA. I purchased the Tata Photon + data card on 7th June 2011, Whose Tata Photon # is 9212229496. I was promised by Dealer's sales executive Mr. Ravi that it will be activated within 2 hours of purchase. Before purchasing it, I asked him many times, that if he cannot get it activated within 2 hours then there is no issue just let me know I will purchase it from somewhere else, because I had very urgent requirement of it at that time, since I had some important business meetings. But always he promised me that it will be activated and I can trust him. On his commitment I purchased the data card and paid the complete amount and documents, what I was asked for.

    But it didn’t get activated at same time when I was promised by Mr Ravi. I also had words with Mr. Rohit Tiwari, he assured me that it will be activated within 2 hours, but still result was same. I called back Mr. Tiwari but he did not response my calls and I waited for next day. I also contacted Tata Photon customer care they informed me that they did not get my documents from dealer (i.e. from Vriti Infocom).

    Its 27th June today and still my data card is not working. I tried to contact VRITI INFOCOME office many times but most of the times receptionist used to pick the call and either put it on hold or disconnect it. I am totally frustrated with deal's wrong promises and can assume how worst their services would be?

    Also at the time of connection purchase I was told that I will get the Golden plan (unlimited usage with 10GB on high speed) in Rs. 1100 per month on which I will also get the discount of Rs 150 per month. But now dealer's executives are saying that Plan amount has been changed to Rs 1200 per month. If you guys cannot keep on your promises then you should not lie with customers? Why can’t you keep on your words? Or your executives do not know about the tariff plans?

    My tata photon device was activated on 20th of June 2011 and it worked only for 4 days on morning of 25th June it stopped working again, When I contacted customer care of Tata Photon, they told me that this device is registered in name of Mr. Mukesh Kumar. I was totally surprised that how its possible. I have a receipt/Invoice of my tata photon device In my name on which tata photon no. and MEID # A000002DD49644 is mentioned. Also they are saying that, this MEID # is not registered with any tata photon number/device.

    Now I do not want the Tata photon services anymore and need my total amount Rs 1300.00 back. Please issue the cheque of Rs 1300 in favor of Hitesh Kumar Gupta and send it to me by your executive I will return back the Tata Photon + device to your executive at same time, when I will get my cheque.

    Otherwise I will have to go to consumer court. There are two things
    1. I did not get my device avtivated for a quite long time (approx 20 days)
    2. When I submitted my documents for the above said device then why its not register in my name. Either my doucmnets are also attached with some other device. Which may be misused in future.

    I want to inform you that in case of any usage from this data card device I will not be responsible.
