I was using one Tikona Broadband Connection : Customer id : 1104788517 In Pimple Saudagar, Pune. After facing severe network connectivity problem and poor responses from the Tikona Technical staff, I decided to disconnect the Tikona broadband within one month from the installation.
Inspite of so many calls at the Tikona customer care and reminder mails sent by me for the Tikona Broadband connection, still the Status of Disconnection is " In Progress" from past 52 days. I am wondering if this is the way, things happen at Tikona, then who will take any broadband connection from Tikona in future.
On my multiple e-mails sent to Tikona customerccare for the disconnection, from 30th November,2011, The Status was moved to "In-Progress" on 8th December,2011. Still, after 52 days, the status of disconnection is "In- Progress". Please note that effectively, I have used the Tikona broadband conenection from 7th November,2011 till 4th December,2011 which is less than a month period, but the bill is generated till 26th December,2012 data usage and further, new bills are lined up.
I also got an assurance from the Nodal office, that the disconnection will be done swiftly but still there is no one who is taking the responsibility for completing the disconnection progress. Please note that modem, LAN cable and devices have been collected by your Tikona Executive on 3rd January,2012 from my residence.
Further, I have issues with the billing and I have called many times at the customer care service for resolving the issues present in the two bills generated against the usage of Tikona Broadband connection. I am re-writing the same issues :
1) I had requested for the disconnection of Tikona Broadband connection and same was moved to "in-progress" status on 8th December,2011. There is no data usage from 5th December,2011 but, the bill for the whole period 26th November,2011 till 25th December,2011 was generated and sent to me. Earlier, customer care representative told me that I won't be charged from 5th December,2011 onwards, as the Disconnection request was already sent by me and there was no data usage from 5th December,2011.
2) Second issue is that while taking this broadband connection on 4th November,2011. I paid Rs 1499 as advance rental which was supposed to get adjusted in the subsequent bill. This advance rental Rs 1499 is not yet deducted from any of the past bills. I have paid Rs 2250 for taking the connection ( Rs 1499 + 500 + applicable tax ). Can they explain why they say that 1st month bill usage is worth Rs 2417 when I was using 1499 unlimited plan and on pro-rata basis till 26th November, the bill was Rs 968. Why dont they adjust Rs 1499 that I paid as advanced rental.
I don't know where to report this issue so that it will be heard by the Tikona Broadband.
I will subsequently file a written complaint in the Pune District Consumer court, if still my disconnection request is not completed by Tikona.
