    Thumbs down Tikona Broadband Connection Problem

    Hi,

    Recently I applied for a Tikona Broadband connection with below details.

    Name: Ronak Korat
    Mo: 9886622324
    User ID: 1105072205
    Email: ronakkorat@yahoo.co.in
    Application no: 50000018352728
    Documents submitted: Rental agreement, PAN card, a Photo

    I paid 2300 Rupees to the executive who came from Tikona. Then after 3 days a technician came to my place and said that we don't have network coverage here, so we won't be able to provide you the connection. He said that my money will be refunded within 20 days. Then after I called them to know the status of my refund. They confirmed my name as Ronak Korat and said that it's still in process. I waited for some more time. And again I called them on 18th Dec, 2011. On that day they said that this connection is on the name of Sampath (actually I don't know anyone named Sampath). I don't know How the name got changed in between this time. Now there will be a problem again when Tikona will send a cheque on the name of Sampath. So better to solve it before it happens.

    Now whenever I'm calling Tikona customer care, they are asking to send a mail to them including my complaint. I wrote a mail with all my problems and after that 2 times I sent mail for updates. But NO reply at all.

    Even after all this, I don't have any status of my refund. Please refund my money back as soon as possible

    Yes, you are right Mr Korat. These people are really fraud and reckless about everything including their main duty to provide the services for which they screw money from the customers like us, but they fail to do so. In my case also, they have taken altogether Rs 2300, and the bill has come with extra 500 rupees, but the service is zero. I am thinking/planning to take them to customer court directly.

    I was looking for an ISP to provide me quality services and since there are not a whole lot of service providers in Trichy, so I had only a handful of options as far ISP’s go. One of my friends suggested that I go in for a Tikona broadband connection. I took his advice and bought a Tikona connection, and I am so glad that I listened to my friend and did not go in for the local ISP, because not only did I get quality services but also got free antivirus as an add-on. I am so glad that it saved me from the pain of buying an antivirus. Tikona rocks!

    It's all right that Tikona is going to refund my money back to me. But what about the Name? The connection was on the name of me (Ronakkumar Bhikhubhai Korat). Then how did it get change to Sampath V? I clearly saw the sales executive writing my name on the application form and even customer care executive was confirming my name as Ronak Korat till 11th Dec, 2011.

    Suddenly when I called on 18th Dec, I came to know that the name of owner is changed. Now you guys will send a cheque which is of no use for me, as it's gonna be on the name of Sampath V. I want a cheque on my name (Ronakkumar Bhikhubhai Korat).

    Please reply as soon as possible. If I am not getting the cheque on my name, then I will have to file a complaint against Tikona in written at Consumer Court Forum.

    And I have paid 2300 rupees. How can it become 2200 now? What are you guys doing?

    Tikona Services,

    Please reply to my query or I'll have to go ahead with legal actions. Is this what you call your service. I had got negative feedback from too many friends of mine. Still I trusted tikona. and Now I can say that I was Totally wrong on my decision.
