    Default Tikona's Broadband Awful Experience

    Never ever take a Tikona Connection.

    I took a tikona connection (Id # 1101460370) with a Sales Rep Sandeep who is very good in fooling people using a demo id. I got the installation through Manjunath who was able to provide us just the Lan but not the WIFI since the network was not accessible. I again tried to access the connection in the Night and nothing was working. I raised a complaint and my problem was fixed net day evening around 4 and the net worked only for that day. Next day I decided to cancel and gave my request to Customer service. I also sent an email to so called nodal officer who still has not responded to me. Again I called after 4 days to Customer Service to check on my request and I was told that my request was not processed since their technician have given a report that My net was working. I somehow got a hold of a number(40367718) at Bangalore and spoke to Reddish or Rathish who claimed to be working at Nodal office. He also promised to reply within 30 minutes to my email, but it has been 2 days and no reply from him yet. He doesn’t even pick up the call now. So far whoever I have dealt with is bunch of ineffective People. I hope I get my Money refunded.

    Default The worst kind of service provider.

    Well I m from Bangalore on 15th of June 2010 the sales executive came to my residence and described me with demo about Tikona connection.


    Now on 16th after much struggle, the technical guys came to provide the connection at 8pm to my residence.
    To my surprise Tikona cannot provide connection, well then I called up the customer care and spoke to them raised a complain but this Tiknoa is a bunch of Jokers they just verbally assured me to refund the amount, so i sent a mail to the so called nodal office Mr.Nagesh Prasad with the details of my connection request, here I received a reply on 21st of June with the confirmation that with in 15 to 20 working days. I replied to the same mail with a request to provide me a date for which i have not received any reply yet.
    Now today i got a mail with bill of Rs.515/-. I requested the customer care person to provide me the number of Nodal office but they nor give me the number neither they are providing me any mail confirmation for the refund except verbal commitment.

    When i called the customer care they told that you have not requested for money refund so its not processed, what kind of nonsense is this.

    I am planning to file case in the consumer court ,as now its not the matter of money but this is very nonsense to irritating.

    Default Yes Tikona is really BAD

    Two Tikona persons shown me a demo and assured me connection next day first it was decided to give a zerox of cheque next evening of Rs. 1123 installation plus one month bill. Next day he called me saying there is a scheme where I have to give only Rs. 500 Cheque other amount will be to paid later. The connection was assured in two days. But no one came. After umpteen complaints I get my home wired but again there was no user id and password with me. They assured it in 48 hours, well, Day after day were passing and all my joy waned. I called every number I knew but every time they told me fake 'Sorry Sir' and that the complaint was 'forwarded'. I was helpless as when I called on their mobile they never lifted.
    11 days passed and then a demo guy called me to give me Rs. 1123 cheque again as Rs. 500 scheme was off. Well, after strong followup I got my user Id and password. To my surprise it was not working!!!
    After many calls my password was reset. The speed is awful connection is full of breaks and failures. I feel I didn't get what I have paid for.
