I Know We Cannot Stop Piracy...But I would like to share my thoughts to U so that u can take an action On IT...Piracy is Really A True Crime all we know that..As Today There are So Many Websites We cannot stop piracy of movies,songs and others..But THIS WEBSITE (www.Pathagar.Net | ??????? ???????? ????? ????? ????....) IS THE ONE WHICH REGULARLY UPLOADS BENGALI EBOOKS EVERY DAY...if this sort of things happen then how could the Bengali writers/poets wud get there nominal monthly/yearly earnings from publisher by selling their books....THIS SITE SHOULD TOTALLY BE STOPPED...we know we cannot afford much price to buy eBooks (BUT FOR THAT LIBRARY IS THERE FOR US)...but this cheap enactment of publishing Bengali eBooks is websites everyday is killing MANY WRITERS ENTHUSIASM AND THERE EARNINGS...so itzz a request to U PPL To kindly take a look and stop atleast this kind of cheap piracy...

I strongly oppose to your comment on web piracy being encouraged by Pathagar.net. There are N number of sites and blogspots which are flooded with cut-and-paste resources in the web world. Pathagar is mostly releasing books which are unavailable in the market or has been published atleast 3 years back. The site portrays their idealism " Always try to buy the book if you find it worth reading, We do not want to do any financial harm to any writer" every now and then. Besides, they do not entertain any request for contemporary books. Besides, the online access of the books has never killed the book market in any part of the world. To some extent it lures the readers to have a physical collection of books written by the favorite authors.

I think you have been ousted from the site by the admin team for not abiding by their rules " for not posting the books in any other site after downloading it from pathagar.net". Boy, this place is not for releasing your frustration..take care and read more and more books...

Pathagar is sharing illegal and unauthorised books openly. It is a shame no one is looking into the matter. All the publishers, writers, and the ones associated with its business will have to beg to common people if this continues. Piracy will obviously discourage the young writers from writing new books. Many budding writers may take this as their insult. We should stop piracy at any cost.

If people has the money to buy a computer and maintain a high speed internet connection , they obviously have enough money to buy those books legally. By the way whats the use of this site except to kill the writers and encourage piracy. Shame to all of the Pathagar.net domain. Damn.

U speak as if u never downloaded anything Latest from the net before for Free? U people will download Latest Songs/Movies/Videos for Free then complain as if ur the nicest boy in the class.... never done a free download before.....

Guys, http://www.pathagar.net should not be banned. You people are only seeing one side of this. If y r in kolkata then u cn go to COLLEGESTREET or BOOK FARE or any book store for books, but what abt those people who are not in KOLKATA bt like to read bengali books like u ?? I'm staying in bangalore and getting bengali books in here of ur choice is next to impossible; so for sake of bengalis out side bengal we should encourage those guys who worked very hard so that we can have good time pass.

Writing IS NOT A PROFESSION dude. Have u asked any writer what makes them more proud? If there book sold 1000 copy and they get royalty OR 1000 people get a chance to read their creation.

W/O E-book websites I never get a chance to read Md. jafar Iqbal, Huyamun Ahamde's books. And I am thank full to those guys who gave me a chance for the same.
