Hello all

I bought one dell laptop with the quotation number IRSO 3126277, order number 0468930 and the customer number is 952632.

Now there was some problem in the optical drive & battery charger & might be there is a problem in mother board. I called them on last Friday on 11th June, 2010 & they promised me to get that resolved by Monday or Tuesday at the max. But the executive came on Wednesday (yesterday/16-06-2010). He changed the optical drive & charger. So that system can get the charging. Now, neither he, nor me is able to install the operating system because the worn out dvd which is been sent by dell along with the system at the time of purchase. I told to the technical team when they asked me to repair/reinstall the operating system after having a major problem in factory restore settings as it was showing a message of "BOOTMGR is missing" that the dvd is not working. they assured me that the service engineer must be having the OS DVD but he wasn't.

Now they are telling me that I need to manage the DVD by myself or use a pirated one. When I told them to give this in writing then they said that they need 7-10 days to ship the dvd.

I am already losing my work & can’t use my laptop from last one week. So I want to file a complaint against them for the harassment, wasting my time & re-embarrassment of the money I am losing in that time.

Please help me & guide for the same...
