I just happened to buy an Acer laptop from an autherized dealer in Delhi. I am a 3rd year Electronics engineering student doing my Btech. I indulged in this shopping wholly due to my curricular needs. Placement drive in my college is round the corner and due to this i needed a reliable laptop and more importantly a reliable brand, to store all the important documents and files on it for urgent and mobile use.But to my dismay, on the 3rd day of its purchase itself, i switch my laptop on only to find the Operating System corrupt.Not losing hope i went to the nearest Acer Service Station but there they say the product does not come with any Software warrenty.Now that shattered my confidance in Acer the reason beeing that i dont see any human error on the part of the user since the laptop was just switched on only the 3rd time (to find it totally redundant) .I find it in no way a matter of money.. but a matter of rankest concern that an Acer Laptop cant even become an object of simple use(its not even been a week i baught it) leave aside being an object of TRUST, but they (people concerned/Acer) are not ready to listen. Since i am a student and i exhausted all my money in buying this laptop at this crunch time of my career, i blame Acer for all my Ordeal and kindly request the Consumer Court to intervene and help a grieved Student rather than a consumer!
