    Post Acer Laptop complaint

    Hi,


    My name is Anand and I purchased Acer Aspire 5536 laptop on 6th of January. I was well pleased with the performance of the system for the first 2 months. However, after 2 months, it started showing some “Forced shutdown” error message while shutting down the system and the startup got slower as well.



    It even took around 15 minutes to start and all of a sudden one day, it’s not starting up. I couldn’t even go to BIOS or even to last known configuration. So, I couldn’t take a backup of my files.



    Now I am very desperate that, I made up my mind in choosing Acer. I do understand that, any computer can cause problems.



    But it’s very astonishing that, I gave my Laptop to your Service Center on 5th of May and even after 1 month. They couldn’t help resolve the issue with my Laptop.



    As, I enquired about the problem. I came to know that, this was some monitor flickering issue. After that, they are telling like, they have replaced the mother board and they are waiting for to change the processor.



    And, I even called up your Customer Care, for complaining this and they are not at all responding to what am saying. I already told the Customer guys that, I have given the laptop to service center. Even, though he is just giving the details of the service centers, which I already have. He was not all in a mood to help me at all. Forget it!!!!!!



    Today, I called up the service center and they are still asking for one more week to change the processor. What is it going on!!!!, they are telling like, processor is in shortage. I can’t believe it…



    Now I don’t want this messed-up laptop back. I want a new laptop to be replaced with 1 year warranty and my files backup with effect to date replaced. According to service center, they don’t have any authority to do anything!!!!!



    To whom, should I be complaining about the loss of my time and money? Consumer Court??



    Whoever has the right authority, please replace my Laptop with 1 year warranty and my files backup.

    Your data is gone and the company is not responsible for it.. If your data is really important and you are ok with paying up to recover it then there are a lot of data recovery companies who would do that for you for a charge.. They mostly deal with broken hard drives and yours as there is no mention of any damage shouldn't be an issue and charges wont be too high either.

    I can tell you this for sure that the company is not going to give you a brand new laptop in return for the faulty one but will repair it for you and return it back... Your only option is to go to your nearest consumer forum and file a case against them if you don't want to settle with the original repaired piece..

    I hope you get a new laptop soon without having to wait too long.

    Unhappy Acer Complaint

    Respected Sir,
    My acer netbook is in Extended warrenty. And following are the details.

    I gave my netbook with the Karve Nagar Service center for the display issue.
    It worked fine for that day but again the display went on the very next day.
    I complained again on 15-09-2010 and was re-issued the previous case ID but they said the parts have not been supplied from acer's end.
    I kept calling but no positive reply came..
    Since I am a student so it is not possible to go to-and-fro on daily basis,therefore, I had to take back my netbook around 9-10-2010.
    My case ID was- 082510-1004

    Please reply soon.

    Sir,
    Most humbly and respectfully I want to say that I had purchased the acer laptop on 8october. The model I got was Acer4741z .But later I discovered the bill given to me was of acer5714z-P603gMnkk. Even the registration no. is different. The shop was MAC PLUS 300,dhun bldg, ground floor,near lamington road police station, grant road, (e)mumbai-400007.Please help me.

    The notebook is out of warranty because there is 6 months warranty on the battery.

    When you want the battery replaced there are costeds with it. total amount of 103.38 excl. vat.

    When you have paid the amount, the system will be repaired and the invoice will be send by post.

    This reference you can also find at the invoice when this is made.

    If you agree with the repair charge you must pay before we repair.

    If you don;t agree with the repair charge, you have a choice to receive
    the unit back unrepaired. Then you pay 65 euro incl. VAT

    You also can take distance of the system. There are no charge involved and
    the system will be destroyed.

    as i have purchased acer aspire 5542 on 30 june 2010.from croma centar (anand vihar) delhi.
    after complation of 3 month the problem coming in a rapid way the display becomes blank after the use of 20 min.....
    at the time of switching on it makes huge noice
    i think i have wasted my money and time while purchasing the laptop

    there is no custemer complain center on the web side .of acer

    Hi
    i am customer of acer laptop. Your branch manager whose name is sudhansu kumar behaviour is not good. He charges a lot for a little work. He thinks that we are helpless because there is only one service centre here in patna. He charged for a guaranty product of my laptop. I think there is two more corruption in your service centre. Please try to solve this or change your manager otherwise i will never buy your laptops.

    This is very bad experince i have been faced.

    Pls dont buy for the ACER products.... Any way the product will work for 2-3 months . then the problem starts,No one is perfect in the world.... But atleast the SERVICE SHOULD BE GOOD ...... the service is not at all good....

    Angry complaint against acer for poor services

    I purchased acer 4745 on september 2010from laptech,after 1 month it started troubling .It stopped working and I took it to the service centre where they informed me that the hard disk is crashed .On 22 september I gave the laptoptop acer service centre pune,now almost 22 days are gone,I havent got the laptop yet,whenver I call them theres no response from there side. I am student and because of these incidence, i have also gone through huge loss of my studies.Please revert me back asap.

    Thumbs down Complain against 'Computer City' - A dealer of acer products

    My dvd-rw device was not working properly, it can not read all the dvds. So i sent it to 'Computer City' (Asansol, Rambandhu Talab) for checking and repair on 22-10-2010. I purchased my laptop(Aspire 5738, serial no-lxpf80c01193315a1a2000) on 06-11-2009. But they had made no changes to the laptop and said that 'the dvd works properly'.
    So I want to register a complain against Computer City for its poor service. I purchased the laptop from the same dealer.

    Red face Not satisfied with Service

    Respected sir,
    I am Kiran Dashrath Dhakate, have purchased the
    laptop of acer aspire 4520 in oct 2008.

    Few days back my laptop's NVDIA chip was not working,
    thats why i gone to your sevice centre at nagpur, they first told me that,
    it is not working & you have to replace that chip, so said its okay, and
    paid for that chip.

    But after 15 days, the same problem occurs, this time
    I went to service centre, they said that you have to replace the NVDIA chip,
    as last time you just repair it and asking for money again.

    As your service centre directly chited with me. so, I
    am loyal customer of yours, think you should know about the incident.

    As I have no faith remains to the SERVICE CENTRE
    NAGPUR.

    Please, let me know that what should i do now. as my
    money get wasted & my laptop still in the dead condition.

    now i checked with local(UAE) acer dealer there said not covered warranty please follow the ACER written meassage

    We have confirmed that this laptop is sold with standard 1 year warranty. If carrefour has mentioned 3 years warranty on your receipt, You would need to claim the same from them.

    after i check with carrefour there send the on mail following
    Kindly be informed that as per the law of U.A.E, Carrefour is liable to cover your product under warranty only for 1 year.

    We wish to repeat that the 3 years Warranty has been quoted by the Manufacturer (Acer) as per which, after finishing first year from the date of purchase, the servicing will be undertaken by an Authorized Acer Service Centre only.

    Default Worst service center

    Dear Sir/ Madam,
    I have a acer 5920 laptop.Few days ago, I cant turn on my laptop.At a same time my battery was out of charge.It cant be charged also. I took it to the Acer authorized service center (Aforeserve, G.C Avenue, Kolkata ). They kept my laptop for a week. After one week, they return my laptop and told me that my motherboard has died and also my adapter out of work.they have estimated about Rs.6000/- to repair it which was not affordable to me.
    After that I had gone to a local expert to recheck. He check the laptop for a while and within a min the laptop is being started. He told me, that it might be an adapter problem and nothing to worry about it.
    My laptop is going fine now. How this type of idiot, unexperienced and irresponsible company can get authorization for Acer?
    Please do needful at your end and i must say, Acer should take a step against the service center.

    An Acer engineer visited my place on the next day and fond out that the Mother board and key pad was not working. But till now I have not got any replacement of the defective part. Every tine i call the acer service center they say ,that the have not received parts from the company yet. now from the last week they are saying that the company will replace the laptop, but they have not done any thing yet. I am very disappointed and frusted from such a kind of negligence, now I want to long a complain in the consumer court, but I do not know how plz help me

    The acer laptop was purchased since ten months and now the laptops has problems like shutting down, blinking and problems with the buttons.Tries 2 call at ur toll free numbers , but no response as yet. Its still in warranty , so wanted 2 get it fixed before that. The after sale service of your company is very horrible and I request you to improve your after sale service and take care of your valued customers problems. Hope you will revert back at the earliest and solve my problem as Iam handicapped without my laptop.waiting for your earliest reply.

    Thumbs down ACCER GATEWAY Bad Quality of Product and no After Sales Service Support

    I have bought a Gateway NV49 laptop from Croma Store at S G highway Ahmedabad, after 6 to 7 months from purchase. The LED is going deem and I can’t see anything in LED.


    When I immediatly go to Croma, they said that they can’t do anything and i have to take the laptop to gateway/Accer service centre. I want to tell u, don't go to Croma they provide worst models of standard Companies to improve their commission and profit, they are not interested in after sell or customer’s real pain, which is directly or indirectly provided by Croma…

    I have contacted to local Gateway-Accer service center (Ashtech), they strictly instruct me to first register your complaint online then they will touch or check my laptop, after two to three hours long call waiting on toll free of Accer help desk my complaint registered and then I go to local service center(Ashtech) and provide all my invoice and documents than they take my Laptop and tell me that they will inform me about problem, but that is not done, after two days I have contact (Ashtech)for the problem resolved or not, they inform me that they want Invoice to verify, which is already provided on first day, again I have provide the same,

    after another one week there is no call received from accer, I have called to service center they informed me that part is requested from accer but not received, this story run till three weeks after three week I got local accer office number from them, I have called them and there is Mr. Paresh hear my all problem and give me answer that he’ll check and inform me on my cell no he take my cell no. but no call recived till date,

    after another one week I have called sevice center they informed me that the part is intended but not working in your laptop, now we requested for mother board, I m shocked that in six seven month the mother board is failed to support.

    I would like to inform you all that beware of ACCER – GATEWAY

    From day 12-july-2011 to till date no body support me from Accer - Gateway and nobody inform me the right solution nor replied me over phone, service center (Ashtech) not give me any answer and Accer local office Mr Paresh and respective person not reply me when ever I call them they replied he is not in office and not at hos desk or he I in luch,

    in this big Ahmedabad city there is only one person from Accer to hear my problem and he not want to talk with me…

    Even today I don’t get my laptop back from them. Till date problem not resolved…
    This is not a fake review I will provide all the real Acer Case ID and Ashtech service center call ID to any body want for reference…

    This is with reference to complaint no 080411-314 for Acer Aspire 5536
    I have launched the compaint somewhere around 20 days back & still my problem has not been fixed out.
    on connecting customer care i am continiously getting reply that we have ordered the part & we will fix it as soon as possible.

    Secondly i have alsoraied the issue for non performance of power code of my laptop & the compaint for the same was raised in the same compaint numbar , while connecting to the customer care the executive has told me that your laptop is in warranty & you will get replacement of both your power code & adaptor even if one of the unit is not functioning but the franchisee allocated to my complaint (Dolphin System- Ph 022 25390065 /53) is not able to understand & his providing the response that the power code cant be replaced.

    Please fixout all problems pertaining to my laptop ( i.e. Diplay issue & Power code issue ) by 25/08/2011 else the same will be escalted to consumer grevioence cell / Consumer forum.

    dear sir/madam

    recently brought a laptop aser e machine
    e732z on 1/8/2011 but on 30th the machine got dead
    not booting up i complaint on customer care
    2/9/2011 as that day was holiday and there was message on the phone that you
    have to call tomarrow due to holiday.
    on 8/9/11 i got to know that the motherboard of the laptop is faulty
    and has to replaced and as they dont have motherboard in stock it will take
    15-20 days to get the board replaces.
    i even talked to sky solution from whom i purchased the laptop but they said we cannot do any
    thing regarding this call at customer care.
    i am talking to customer care and till date recieved no genuin reply
    kindly suggest the best way to deal with this problem.

    Smile aspri 4740 comlaint

    hi iam babu i brought last year aspri 4740 ,first problem is display was half screen only display, i was changed that display again next 8 month i got a same problem now that full display its showing blank white screen please help out any one
