We have went for an AMC for my HP Laptop with a company called Aforeserve in Sep'09 on followup from them we paid Rs.6200/- to them via electronic transfer. We didnt received the receipt for the same. On followup some receipt of earlier years were forwarded. In Apr'10 my laptop had some issues and when went for the repair against the AMC, it was intimated that we dont have any AMC against our Laptop and they asked us to provide us the Payment details. Later on when we provided the details, below mentioned is what has been replied to us
Dear Megha,
On behalf of Aforeserve.com. Ltd. , we would like to sincerely apologize for the negative experience that you had with our company. We acknowledge you that we have received your payment. But we are not able to provide you the warranty for your HP Laptop as HP has stopped selling the same.
In this case, we would be highly obliged to offer:-
1. Refund your money, which you’ve paid us for warranty extension of your HP Laptop.
We apologize once again and hope that you will continue to take services from us again in the near future.
We will courier your cheque in next 4-5 working days.
Now, is it fair on part of Aforeserve to say. We have asked them that the above is not acceptable and they need to return me the repair charges for my laptop plus AMC charges on current market rate for the remaining period, but till date they have not reverted.
Can you all look into the same.
