    Default Complaint against laptop repairs service centre

    I had a problem with my Sony vaio laptop. It would abruptly shutdown by itself after 30 mins of usage. I got it diagnosed from Sony service centre, where they told me that they will change the mother borad which costs a handsome amount, as they don't repair the parts . They just replace.
    I took it to another authorised service centre, where they told me that it will be repaired in 7 days. They told me that their is a problem with display IC and that has to be changed. I agreed. after that they told me that it needs to be formatted. Generally formatting is not required untill there is a software issue and my data was crucial so I asked them to take a backup and then format. for 5 days after those 7 days they kept on delaying the delivery saying that data size is huge and it is taking time to transfer the data.
    After a heated argument they agreed to give back the laptop without any repair and with another problem of crashing of windows.
    Meanwhile they behaved very irresponsibly and I am finding it difficult to trust their diagnosis of changing the display IC and charging of 6200 Rs for that.
    Mainly it is a service complaint. Is it possible to lodge a complaint in such a case?

    Default My worst experince with sony vaio

    i had purchased a sony vaio laptop before couple of weeks ago but after 12 days i found that my laptop LCD has stopped working. I went to sony service center to rectify the problem.As per the request i had submitted my laptop to them.After 2 days i got a call from them claiming that my laptop is absolute fine and request me to come there and receive it. So i went there and they said that they changed the LCD screen of my laptop and every problem has been sort out . For a while i had started my laptop at same place to satisfy myself and it was working.But at very second i started my laptop when i went back to my home my laptop had stop working.Everything was same as it was before.
    This is one of the worst experience of my life.

    Default hp laptop replacement of adaptor

    i had bought my hp laptop from "croma". i had bought an extended warranty of two years along with it. 2 months back my laptop's adaptor stopped working and i contacted croma because my laptop is under extended warranty and they gave me complaint number and address of the service center where the adaptor would be replaced. its been more than 4 weeks now, my adaptor is not been replaced by service center people in Hyderabad. i am extremely frustrated now. i want to lodge a complaint against service center people. how do i go about it?

    Default Recovery Problem in My Laptop Set

    My Laptop Set No. is 28249577-7000115 C 22Gh/W it is of Silver Grey Colour. Due to problem of Non recovery I given my set to Sony World, P.Road, Kanpur on 12.11.10 but problem is not sorted-out as on date.

    Please look into the matter and in case problem is not sorted-out arrange to give me a new set in lieu thereof.

    Default Refusal to replace Battery by HP Compaq people WITHIN WARRANTY PERIOD

    Sir,

    I bought HP Compaq laptop on 24 January 2010 from Vijaya Sales , Chembur branch.
    Number of laptop is SCNU9463ZGB.
    Upon defect in Battery ,i approached their service center to replace it.
    They had given me letter that as per their database warranty starts on 25 November 2009 .So refused to replace it .
    please suggest me how to go about.

    Default Defective Sony Vaio Laptop

    Dear Sir/Madam,
    I had purchased a Sony Vaio laptop for my daughter 6 months back at Chennai(India) and the set is in warranty of Sony India. Few days back the set stopped working and we showed it to Sony Service centre at Ashok Nagar , chennai. They have said that the LCD has got damaged and conveniently put the blame on the customer. There are no visible marks of any external damage but the service centre and Sony India customer service is not willing to listen.The screen has not even been touched by my daughter and inspite of my representation for replacement of the defective product/defective LCD piece,the service centre is not taking any action. What a pathetic response by this service centre? I always thought Sony products are good and the company takes care of the customer like "Apple" with whom I have good experience. Can somebody help please.
