Hi,
This is to bring to your attention a very poor product quality, after-sales service and customer care by Lenovo in India. I feel totally harassed as a customer. Lenovo should bring out an ad in TV, billboards and newspapers stating boldly the reasons to buy a Lenovo Laptop ---- · How to blow Rs.19950 in cash in a day, and suffer in kind in coming months. · How to inflate your cell-phone bill calling Lenovo customer care, service center and dealer hoping for a prompt resolution. · How to get your work affected by taking days-off from work to get you’re laptop replaced. · How to lose your salary by taking unplanned off days from work. · How to feel harassed and punished by buying and trusting a “SO CALLED BRAND” called LENOVO. Here are a few points. I am copying the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Govt. of India and various media channels in this mail as I have lost all my trust in Lenovo I am fed up with the kind of harassment I am subjected to. I purchased the product from my hard-earned money only to face so many troubles and discomforts right. Is this the Lenovo brand that I thought I was paying the premium for? Can someone please ensure that consumers in India are not a piece of shit? Till date no reply from Mr. Nagar side after repeat reminder, they are not interested even call back to customer. One of Engg. Mr. Pankaj checked the Laptop & identify that the touch pad are defective in new unit & it will replace with in 3 to 4 days. At the time of part replacement when they open the unit it become under notice that mother board need to be replace as there is some manufacturing fault in unit. How it is possible that major part are found defective in newly purchased product. I again call up at your Bangalore office they provided a toll free no. 1800115522 on this regard i have spoken to one the executive by the name of Nishu; she told me that we will look into this matter but till date no response. Again at 4:30 pm i gave a call to your Customer care no and this time some one picked up my call and i strait away said to him that i want to speak to your senior, he strangely replied there is no senior in our office ,again i requested him to provide me the any senior Mail Id, he strait away said to me that we don't have any mail. I really regret that I purchased ur product and I advised one of my friends that don’t buy LENOVO product because the service is very poor. When I went to purchase laptop some of the dealers also told me not to purchase Lanovo because they said Lenovo don’t have a good servicing and they have given the service to some franchises that are not good at all. Now 10 days have passed and I don’t even know the status of replacement. In the contrary I have 3 year old hp product for they have given me the complaint no. with in 10mts after loading the complaint thru sms and the technician visited in a day and the problem was rectified with in 2 working days. So kindly improve the customer service more efficiently or u will lose ur customer as me. I think i have taken your too much time but these are the feelings of customer who believe in the brand, who has spent money on it but at the end of the day think cheated by co which has brand value Can you please tell who I should speak to so that I can get my defective Laptop replace? If it not replace with in 3 days I also go directly to the consumer forum as your company is not honoring & supply defective product in Market. I purchased a "used" Lenovo from Nerds on Call in Peoria, IL on 11-28-09 but paid $868 and told it was new. Another person's music, video's, and documents were found on the laptop. It has been used in my home only by me and my husband. The mouse works intermitently due to a crack near in the service joining the mouse yet we are accused of breaking it ourselves. I cannot get Nerds On Call to act responsibly about this.
