I have recently booked a Dell laptop online at Vadodara office, Alkapuri, Gujarat. The booking date is 19.07.2010 and had given a cheque. Its almost 2 weeks and I have not received the Order no. nor any information of whether the cheque has been cleared or not. The dell people are not responding to my mail, phone calls and not giving me correct information.

I want a strict and stringent action to be taken against this people.
Dell is useless, dont buy laptops. If they want to sell like others then only buy, dont book online. It is very trouble some to deal with dell people after booking. No responsibility for post sales customer caring.

Yes they are fraud i am alos booked the laptop & payment done by using credit card but no response the are fraud.

Definitely....Dell is a fraud company.
I booked a Dell Inspiron from a retail shop on 17-07-2010 and till today i.e. 08-08-2010, 21 days have gone and they have not given me neither the laptop nor the refund.
Worst experience with Dell. Dell is HELL.
Guys do not prefer to buy a dell as they take all the amonut in advance and do not give the product within 7-10 days as they promise.
Now I'm in huge trouble that what legal action should i take.
Any suggestions for going to the consumer court are welcome please.

I never thought a company like DELL could treat customers like this. I had booked my desktop on 23.7.2010 and had to run from pillar to post to get the order No. Now I am repeating the routine to find out my estimated date of Delivery. My request to every one who is thinking of buying Dell products, please drop your idea and escape through the backdoors. This company looks like a fly by night operator rather than a reputed computer company. I would like somebody to advice me regarding any legal action I could take on the company.
