i purchased an hcl laptop on 20th july this year,, after a normal usage of around 4 months it has developed a crack on its plastic frame on right side hinge of the laptop,, it gets wide open when when the screen is bent backward ,, and the screen is getting loose too,, as i approached the service center they refused to consider my problem saying that plastic parts are not included in warranty,, and offered me to get it fixed on chargeable basis demanding rs 2400/- approx as the cost of plastic frame of laptop.. but the whole problem is due to the manufacturing default and cheap quality of hcl!!! i would definately want to get fixed my laptop in warranty,, but the flatly refused!!!
