I had bought an HCL Laptop in Nov09 from Ghaziabad on name of my sister. I do have proper bill for the same.
Now it started giving some problem so i visited HCL service Center @ Noida. But to an astonishment they had refused to provide service , excuse was that the warranty had been expired 2 months before as they had billed the Laptop to the parteners long before. And the Bill have no value for them .
I want to know how a customer can judge whether company had billed the product to the partner on which date..?? After that they had told me that there is some RAM problem after opening the LAPTOP , so i went to the partner and he had talked to some MR.Bala and told me to visit again to Service center. Now after 2 days run on third day i went to service center and they again refused and refered to another service center in Noida. There also the same scene i was refused .
Can anybody tell me if partener had sold the unit after 2 months , is that mine fault. Why company is not providing the warranty from the date of purchase of customer..??
Dont know what to do in this regard.
Pls help as a Lapto cost Rs.25000 - 30000 , which is not at all a short amount.
