Laptop Warranty Lapse
I am using hp laptop (Product number: KH274AV/Serial number: CNU9170NLR) and my billing warranty status is from 28 Aug 2009 to 28 aug 2010. But when I contacted hp service centre Precision Infomatic Vashi Neu Mumbai for repair on 26 July 2010 they are saying my laptop warranty is over on 2 July 2010.
Under the warranty information I checked on net say it started from the date of purchase. Even when I contacted hp service engineer he gave the same reply but added that company databases is mangaed from the date of manufacturing. So I am really confused what to do please somebody guide me to the action i need to take.
