I purchased sony vaio VPCEB14EN laptop on 8 mar 2010 and the day i have purchased this laptop i am getting problem and the 10-15 day before 1 year warranty expire my laptop base was damaged due to excessive heat. Sony service center guys replaced it and gave me back this after warranty was over.
After 10-15 days my hard disk started giving problem, and they said it is not possible to replace it now as warranty is over.
And now finally my hard disk is crashed, i called sony customer care and they said hard disk warranty for E series laptops is 2 years. but now they are cheating me and saying it is only one year.
I have had so many problem with this laptop in 1 year
the list is below:
1: DVD writer problem
2: arrow key combination problem
3: accessive heat
4: base damaged due to heat
5: hard disk started problem the day they replaced the base
6: finally hard disk crashed
7: dead pixel on screen
there are so many problems i cant even count.
And i have sent them mail on 14 jan and they have not replied yet. I want my hard disk replaced, i am ready to pay service charges. Hard disk has been crashed because it was faulty and many other E series users are getting the same problem.
I have purchased sony hx7v on this diwali, But now i doubt the quality of that too.
I know the reply of this complaint, it would be you call us on our call center and we will resolve it. My experience with call center guys is:
they use rude language and show attitude, and they say whatever we can do we are doing and we dont have authority to raise your concern to senior supervisors.
