I purchase a LENOVO 3000 G430 laptop in September 2009 with 1 year carry-in warranty. By January 2009 my battery backup fell to a mere 30 minutes.I contacted my dealer in Bareilly who directed me to the Lenovo service center in Bareilly.I went there to lodge my case on 13th July where I was told that according to their records my warranty was over in June 2010.
I sent them scanned image of my receipt and they took a week to rectify their records. Lenovo sent a battery to the service center on 29 July.Being a college student, I was in Allahabad at that time.I duly notified the representative that I would be collecting my battery in a few days but she cancelled my case regardless and sent back the battery.
So I lodged another complaint,this time at their Allahabad service center,where they asked me to bring the laptop for examination.
They completely charged the battery and left it as it is.The laptop went into sleep mode and when i contacted them 4 hours later,they said that the battery was still offering backup ie acording to them my backup was worth 4 hours.Am i supposed to keep my laptop in sleep mode?? How am i supposed to use it?? I got a receipt from this center and I really intend to take them to court for such grievious inconvenience,not once but twice.Please advice.

I was using LENOVO S10 Series Note Book. I have purchased Note book AC Adapter with 6 months warranty from Touchstone Technologies. I have submitted it for replacement on 27-07-2010 and i got receipt. The retailer told me we will give it in seven days. I called him on 02-08-2010 he told me please come and collect the Adapter at 8 PM after I went to the shop and i asked for Adapter with receipt but he told me i did not bring your adapter i will bring tomorrow come and get it tomorrow ( 03-08-2010). Again i went to shop on 04-08-2010 After calling him but he told me i did not bring Adapter come and collect it tomorrow i told him i called you before coming here why you did not tell this in call and why you are wasting my time and money please tell me will you replace my Adapter or not. He told definitely i will replace it tomorrow please come and collect it tomorrow. Still he is telling those words only come and collect it tomorrow. I don't know why this people are doing like this. I lost money because of him like mobile call charge and bus fares. if i count those it will be more than the Adapter cost. Please give me better suggestion to get my Adapter and to teach him lesson.
