    Default WDC external hard drive

    My WDC extenal hard drive (Elements SE) crashed on around 20 MAY, 2011... I filed a complain to WDC claiming for the replacement drive... They created RMA and offered me a date to pick it up on 27th MAY ... I was in Patna at from 29th April to 18th July 2011... So I filled my address of Patna.... Now they picked the defected drive in mid june and haven't sent it back as on 20 july... I have called and mailed them several times but with no results... Now I am asking them to send the replacement drive to my present address , they are not even complying to this... and not even giving me a date as to when my drive will be returned... This way they also wasted more than two months of my warranty period on the product.... The RMA number for my complaint is #82725531. When today I called them they say that I have been calling after a very long time but I have been communicating with them for the whole time without receiving a date for the delivery of my replacement drive...

    Default Replacement of Intel i3 Processor

    This is to inform that I have registered complain with Intel for replacement of faulty i3 processor on 17-Jun-2011 and have provided all details required to process the replacement as mentioned by Intel customer support executive.But till date have not received the replacement and Intel CS is informing that call is already escalated to concern department and will revert shorty.

    Please find details of my faulty INTEL i3-540 Processor purchased on 23/04/2011.

    Product: Intel i3-540, 3.06GHZ, 4MB Cache, LGA 1156, 73W

    On pressing the power button on CPU the processor and SMPS fan spins for 4-5 sec and then again restart and spins for another 4-5 sec ...

    There is no display nor any beep the CPU just initiates and the process goes on...

    I tried replacing the existing RAM (Kingston 2 GB DDR3 - KVR1333DN3N9/2G-SP) but no success.

    The I removed the RAM and checked for beep sound but no beep.

    Then I replaced the CMOS battery but again same.

    Then I replaced the existing motherboard (Gigabyte GA-H55M-S2) but again the same.

    Also tried replacing SMPS but response the same.

    But when I tried replacing the processor on my existing setup of motherboard,Ram and SMPS its started working fine.

    Now this cleared my doubt that there is problem with processor.

    Please guide me for getting replacement of faulty processor.

I found that your part was scheduled to ship yesterday, and that it had been delayed because of some sort of problem with a tool in our distribution center.     Please find details of my faulty INTEL i3-540 Processor purchased on 23/04/2011.

    Product: Intel i3-540, 3.06GHZ, 4MB Cache, LGA 1156, 73W

    On pressing the power button on CPU the processor and SMPS fan spins for 4-5 sec and then again restart and spins for another 4-5 sec ...

    There is no display nor any beep the CPU just initiates and the process goes on...

    I tried replacing the existing RAM (Kingston 2 GB DDR3 - KVR1333DN3N9/2G-SP) but no success.

    The I removed the RAM and checked for beep sound but no beep.

    Then I replaced the CMOS battery but again same.

    Then I replaced the existing motherboard (Gigabyte GA-H55M-S2) but again the same.

    Also tried replacing SMPS but response the same.

    But when I tried replacing the processor on my existing setup of motherboard,Ram and SMPS its started working fine.

    Now this cleared my doubt that there is problem with processor.

    Please guide me for getting replacement of faulty processor.
