I had bought a Western Digital Hard Disk Drive from a registered shop in kolkata(Jain Computers) with valid bill in the month of june,2010.The HDD started to malfunction in the month of August,2010.After i contacted the purchase point I came to know that the company has no service centre and they provide on site warranty.I registered my complaint at their website and was given an RMA No.#8211543 on 19/08/10.The helpline took me a huge effort by holding on phone for hours at a stretch for days to schedule pickup.Finally they received the defective HDD on 13/09/2010 at 10:15AM which was received by me on 29/09/10.This replacement was also found defective as it was not detected by the motherboard.I again created a RMA#8206418 on 01/10/10.After continued correspondance and repeated contacting they picked it up on 27/10/10 and received by them on 28/10/10 at 10:30AM.After repeated contacting till date I have not received my replacement.Kindly help.
