I bought Spine Technology Asset Managment software@20000/- in 2009 its work fine . After my Computer Harddisk giving problem I asked the supplier that i am going to install the purchase copy on another machine then they say without AMC this software not working.I asked them what is the use of purchase copy because i dont want ant new upgradation. As in asset s/w their is rare change in rules and regulation so that not required to pay 20% amc charges. As purchase copy must required to reload the software. Its total froud business to us. They r not able to lock their system by h/w dongle key. In their system them upgrade machine internal code and in s/w then link that code this way they lock the system. For good business this is not good practise for customer to force for AMC. After all its customer choice to buy AMC or Not. If their regular upgradation the AMC is required. Its good business practice . I check with supplier they r telling if ur computer giving problem them claim with hardware supplier.
