There was a Cockroach in my Sambhar. I just couldn't believe it. I just can't believe that there is such a serious violation of health codes at EGL in Bangalore. I am trying to find the people responsible for overseeing the restaurants/ fast food joints at the Pyramid in EGL to bring this to their attention.

EGl Administartion is running at its whims and wishes causing lot of inconvinience to the employees of various companies. For instance, consider the following points:

1. The administration has closed the food court near IBM for non-IBM employees and at the same time increased the lease rate for the outlets in the Pyramid food court. This resulted into steep hike in the food prices and substantial decrease in the food quantity.

2. It has routed the incoming and outgoing traffic for quite some time now for some 'beautification' of the SEZ complex. This has increased the office commuting time by at least 15-30 mins. There seems no end to their beautification task.

3. While this beautification is going on, the long pending sky-walk from across the other side of inner ring road to the EGL entrance has been kept hanging. This poses a serious threat to the lives of employees who crosses the road to reach EGL. If this requries sharing the expenses with the government bodies, the employees expect EGL to do that and then flaunt the 'safety' aspect of EGL. Thanks to me for giving you this point to flaunt .

4. Earlier there was a forum for all company admin people to come together and voice their concerns to the EGL admin. It has been dissolved (reason unknown) and now the EGL admin if free to act on their whims and wishes. This has resulted into favorable treatments to some of the companies in EGL while others were left to bear the inconvinience.
