Unhappy Cold drinks are charged for cooling!

All kind of cold drinks (thums up, fanta, mirinda etc) are charged 1 to 2 rupees more in all the outlets in Mumbai and sub urbans. Even in corporate canteens they are charging for cooling. This is ridiculous, consumers drink these drinks only because of they are cold. But all the sellers whether it's an outlet or corporate canteens are charged more. This should be immediately stopped.

Everything is being sold like that. Even Milk. I read in the paper the daily few crores are being paid extra. Govt is sitting on it and doing nothing.

Default Over Charging for selling "cold" drinks by Bunty's Aarey Stall, Goregaon West

I bought 4 numbers of 1/2 liter packs of Amul Buttermilk from this shop located next to A.B. Goregaonkar School. Shop owner's mobile number is 9820012591. The price printed on the pack says "Maximum Rs. 7/-" but the shop charged me Rs. 8 per pack.

I have a hand written bill for Rs. 32 with the shop's stamp printed on it. Can you help me make an example of this one instance so that we can then use it to go after others?

Unhappy Charge more than MRP for bottled water

Restaurants in vile parle (for that matter all restaurants) are charging more amount than MRP for Bottled Water. Yesterday I went to Aswadam Restaurant, Located in Vile Parle Market area in Vile Parle and ordered Bottled water (1Ltr) along with other items. When I got bill I saw charges of bottled water as Rs. 20 when MRP is Rs. 14.
When I confronted the owner at counter he said this is how we take charges and for that matter all hotels will charge you Rs. 20 for bottled water having MRP Rs. 14. He also said that because you were sitting in AirConditioned room they charged Rs. 20 (sitting charges they call it - what rubbish). This absolutely is looting.

This should be stopped immediately and action should be taken against these guys. I've taken bill from the hotel which clearly has charges of Rs. 20 for bottled water. Can anybody direct me to right authority to lodge complaint?

Prashant

Thumbs down extra charges on cold drinks & mineral water bottles over MRP

MRP means maximum retail price i.e max price for any item then how any one can charge more than that in the name of cooling charges.Almost at every places the shopkeepers charge 3 to 5 rupees extra in the name of cooling. There are so many complaints already posted here so there is no need to give detail about this matter.
It is the heartiest request, thou please look into the matter before the forum gets populated by this complain and let the people feel that ILLEGAL CAN'T SUSTAIN FOR MORE IN INDIA.

Designed to fit into small spaces and serve specific functions, compact refrigerators are available in prices and designs ranging from inexpensive models to upscale styles. The choice depends upon on budget and individual needs. Whether chilling soft drinks in a college dorm or expensive wine in a contemporary loft, there's a compact refrigerator for every function. A quick internet search shows small refrigerators that vary in cost from less than $100 to over $2000. How do you which one is right for you? How much should you expect to spend for the look and features you want?

With concern for eco-friendly appliances and the desire to save on electric bills, some consumers are downsizing the size of their homes and, consequently, their appliances. While it's hard to find a compact refrigerator that does it all, most companies are designing smaller models that take up less space and still have room for a limited supply of ice and frozen food. The most advanced of these are pint-sized models of the standard version with separate, frost-free freezers.
